Season 2 of Worst Cooks in America has begun!

One of our favorite Food Network reality shows is back!

Sunday, January 2nd, season two of Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America premiered as 16 of the country’s most hopeless cooks attempt to transform from kitchen zeros into kitchen heroes.

What’s on deck for this season of Worst Cooks in America?

The “recruits” will battle and compete in a culinary boot camp led by Chef Anne Burrell (Secrets of a Restaurant Chef) and Chef Robert Irvine (Dinner: Impossible). In the season finale of the eight-week competition, the two final recruits will prepare a three-course, restaurant-quality meal for a panel of culinary experts (Donatella Arpaia, Marc Murphy and Drew Nieporent). Since the judges will be under the impression that these meals are to be prepared by Chef Anne and Chef Robert themselves, on the line are the chefs’ professional reputations and the $25,000 for the newly-crowned kitchen hero.

Sunday, in the first episode, Lina Yu of Chef Anne’s Red Team and Eric Ricupero of Chef Robert’s Blue Team were sent home.
