Z’Tejas, known for using complex flavors in its dishes and paying special attention to presentation, is a popular southwestern grill with four locations valleywide. Last week, Z’Tejas released its new summer menu and on the list are two delicious lunch entrees:
Adobo Seared Pork Quesadilla
The Adobo Seared Pork Quesadilla is described as “seared pork tenderloin marinated in Adobo with Jack cheese, Anaheim peppers, grilled pineapple, Baja slaw and sage aioli, with a honeydew salad”.
Pollo Tinga Enchiladas
The Pollo Tinga Enchiladas are described as “shredded marinated chicken in a tinga sauce made with chipotle chiles, tomato sauce and onions, topped with guajillo sauce, served with borracho beans and Z’ roasted corn rice”.
Z’Tejas will also introduce a selection of summer drinks on July 27. The VeeV Spa Cooler will be featured and is bound to be one of the highlights on the drink menu. The VeeV Spa Cooler is created with VeeV Acai liqueur, fresh lime juice, cucumbers and mint; a refreshing drink option for the summer months. For each bottle of VeeV that is sold, one dollar will go to the Sustainable Acai Project that helps in the safe harvest of Acai in the Brazilian Rainforest.
Also to be released on July 27, is a figure-friendly drink option: the Skinny Margarita. The Z’Tejas Skinny Margarita will include Cabo Wabo tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and soda water. This delicious combo only has a total of 225 calories, not bad for a margarita!
Z’Tejas is a great spot for lunch with co-workers or happy hour drinks after work. The atmosphere is hip, friendly and is an excellent restaurant to gather with friends.
