Ingredients
Milkshake
  • 4 cuos mint chocolate chip ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 to 8 Thin Mint cookies
  • chocolate frosting (see recipe below)
  • 8 Thin Mint cookies coarsley chopped
  • 10 green Starlight mints coarsley chopped
  • 12 Andes Creme de Menthe Thins coarsley chopped
  • Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • whipped cream
  • Thin Mint cookies, York peppermint patties, mint chocolate M&M's, Andes Thins, mini chocolate cupcakes, green jimmies sprinkles, green candy canes or green mint reception candy sticks to be used as additional toppings
Chocolate Frosting
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder sifted
  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3-4 Tbsp milk
Servings: large milkshakes (or 4 small ones)
Instructions
Build your epic milkshake
  1. Spread chocolate frosting on the outside of your milkshake glass, coming down 2-3 inches from the top. Cover the frosting with a layer of chopped cookies, stralight mints and Andes candies.
  2. Drizzle chocolate syrup down the inside of the glass in streaks.
  3. Combine the ice cream, milk and cookies in a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Pour milkshake into the prepared glass. Top with a thick layer of whipped cream. Skewer the mini cupcakes through straws and put them on top of the whipped cream. Finish by decorating the milkshake with candy toppings, sprinkles and of course more Thin Mint cookies. Serve and enjoy immediately!
Chocolate Frosting
  1. Whip butter and cocoa together until smooth in a large bowl. Stir vanilla and powdered sugar. Slowly stream in milk until frosting reaches desired consistency. Scrape sides and whip again until fluffy, light and smooth., about 1-2 minutes.
