On Wednesday, October 3, guests of The Market by Jennifer’s can enjoy the restaurant’s first Market Wine Dinner of the season featuring four courses paired with wines from the Frias Family Vineyard plus a dessert course to finish the event on a “sweet” note. Menu includes:
First course | Scallop Carpaccio | Olive oil Poached Sea Scallops with heirloom tomatoes, chive, shallots and Rose-strawberry granite paired with 2017 Rosé, Napa Valley
Second course | Risotto | Arborio with chanterelle, fava beans, fennel, leek, Crow’s Dairy chévere and a gremolata nosh complemented by 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley
Third course | Pork | Pancetta-wrapped Pork Loin with plum sauce, grilled stone fruit, and wilted greens served with 2015 Lady of the Dead, Red Blend
Fourth course | A5 Wagu Beef Short Ribs | Sous-vided for 72 hours then served with red wine béarnaise, potato foam and bunashimji mushrooms; paired with 2015 SMD Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Dessert course | Wagu Fat Chocolate Brownie with chocolate ganache, marshmallow cream and liquid nitrogen raspberries
