Hilton Scottsdale Resort Chef BBQ School

Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort is featuring a special Chef BBQ School with Executive Chef Ken Arneson. Chef BBQ School is from 12pm until 2pm on Sunday May 27 at $25 per person and is catered to all levels of experience. Guests can become a “Grill Master” and enjoy lunch then leave with special giveaways such as sauce, rub and special recipes designed by Executive Chef Ken Arneson.

• BBQ Baby Back Ribs

• Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Whipped Cream

We’ve been a fan of Chef Arneson for years now. He’s a fourth generation chef specializing in bold flavors with an eccentric cooking style. Chef Ken’s knowledge and expertise in the kitchen has also landed him many accolades including the 2007 Taste of the Season Best Chefs of the West and the 2009 Challenge of the Chef where he gained the First Place Prize. In 2010, Chef Ken won First Place against 70 other competitors in Scottsdale Culinary Festival’s, “Challenge of the Chef.” When Chef Ken isn’t using his craft in the kitchen he morphs into DJ Kilo, an energetic and crowd pleasing DJ for parties, events and nightclubs.
