Beckett’s Table Hosts Goose Island Beer Dinner

Beckett’s Table, known for its sophisticated comfort food will host a very sppecial Goose Island beer dinner. Guests are invited to indulge in a five-course dinner paired with five award-winning Goose Island beers hosted by Chef Justin Beckett and Goose Island’s Josh Stressman in celebration of #migrationweek.

The beer-centric dinner will take place on Thursday, May 11 beginning with a reception at 6:00 p.m. The exclusive event is $75 per person (including tax and gratuity) with limited seating. Reservations can be made by purchasing tickets online at: http://goosebeckett.brownpapertickets.com/.

The five-course Goose Island Beer Dinner Menu will include

First course | Sofie paired with local feta & summer zucchini cakes, grapefruit caviar, white pepper potato chip and country chicken paté, Beckett’s Table bacon onion jam.

Second course | Gillian paired with seared scallops, toasted almonds, rhubarb “bacon,” yellow corn pudding and strawberry.

Third course | Matilda paired with duck confit, duck sausage, onion ginger coconut puree, red curry, apple chutney and smoked cashew butter.

Fourth course | Goose IPA paired with brined, charred and braised pork short rib, onion braising liquid, apple gastrique, carrot and potato.

Fifth course | Bourbon County paired with chocolate flourless cake, bourbon beer ice cream, gingersnap crumble, toasted coconut and chocolate garnish.
