The State Farm Stadium Food I’m Hoping to Try This Cardinals Season

Posted on: September 24th, 2026 by Taryn Jeffries 1 Comment

We are a very committed Arizona Cardinals household. And by “committed,” I mean signed helmets, custom blankets, lights and enough red to make the living room look mildly sponsored. Jake gets all the glory for that setup. So naturally, I have a State Farm Stadium food wish list to go with our eventual first game together.

Subtlety was apparently never on the roster.

Neither of us is originally from Arizona, but we have been Cardinals fans for years. We usually watch from home, although we have both made it to a few games. Somehow, never together. We need to fix that.

Naturally, when new State Farm Stadium food started catching my attention, I began planning the eating portion of that eventual outing. I was eyeing the birria. Jake, normally a stadium nacho guy, would go for a brisket burger or a Sonoran-style dog.

Then I asked the Cardinals about prices, locations and availability. Good thing I did: my first pick requires Club Level access, and Jake’s two picks were one-game specials that have already had their moment.

Neither of us has tried these offerings yet. This is our food wish list with the practical details supplied directly by the Cardinals, including what is still ahead on the Rivalry Grill calendar.

My first pick is the Beef Birria Machete

The Beef Birria Machete is the item I would be first in line for—provided our tickets let us get to it.

The Cardinals confirmed a price of $25.75 and availability all season long at Sections 210 and 240. Here is the detail to underline before buying tickets: it is exclusive to Club Level. Having a ticket to the game does not automatically mean having access to this order.

Jake and I are mostly game-day grazers, so naturally, I’m wondering whether we could split one. The photo certainly caught my attention, but I haven’t tried it, and the Cardinals didn’t specify how many people it serves. I’d ask before making one Machete our entire lunch plan.

For now, the birria remains on my list. It just comes with a seating requirement. Apparently even my lunch has standards.

Jake’s original picks were one game only

Jake is traditionally a stadium nacho person, which matches his personality: reliable, knows what he likes. But put that “BBQ Brisket Burger” in front of him and suddenly there is room for negotiation.

The Cardinals confirmed that the BBQ Brisket Burger was $16 and exclusive to the Cowboys game. The Sonoran Style Seattle Dog was $14 and exclusive to the Seahawks game. Both were Rivalry Grill offerings; neither is a season-long option.

So those two belong in the “would have ordered” category, rather than on a shopping list for our next game. Being a Cardinals fan already involves enough emotional preparation. I do not need to add an unavailable brisket burger to the situation.

The Rivalry Grill menu changes with the opponent

Find Rivalry Grill at Sections 129, 235 and 420. There are locations on multiple stadium levels, but check which one your tickets allow you to reach before planning your food run.

Here is the remaining lineup supplied by the Cardinals for the 2026 season, which continues into January 2027. These are scheduled game-specific offerings, not a menu of items available together at every home game.

State Farm Stadium food prices: our game-day budget

The remaining Rivalry Grill items run from $12 to $16 each at the prices the Cardinals supplied. That gives us an actual starting point for planning, rather than discovering the total after enthusiasm has already ordered for us.

If we each order that game’s Rivalry Grill special, we’re looking at $24 to $32 for food, depending on the matchup, before drinks, extra snacks and any applicable tax. A useful starting point—and still room for Jake to negotiate emergency nachos.

The Jets game’s egg rolls are explicitly listed as two per serving for $12. Splitting that order would work out to $6 per person for one egg roll each, before any applicable tax. Whether that is enough food is another question entirely. For grazers like us, it could be a starting point.

The $25.75 Machete deserves its own calculation. If we shared one, that would be about $12.88 each before any applicable tax. Of course, that doesn’t include the cost of Club Level tickets.

I would not upgrade our seats solely because a food photo made me hungry. Or would I ?

My plan is simple: pick the game, check ticket access, choose one food priority and leave room in the budget for drinks or another snack. That feels much better than making a cross-stadium expedition for something served only at last month’s matchup.

The home setup is still tough competition

Of course, all of this has to compete with our home game-day setup. No parking, no concession lines, and Jake gets full credit for creating our very committed Cardinals corner.

We can graze, watch and rearrange the snacks without asking an entire row to stand up. It is a hard life, truly.

And for anyone watching from home, there’s always our at-home Cardinal Standard cocktail to round out the game-day plans.

Even when Jake is away for work in Minnesota, the Cardinals come with him. Team gear, a Cardinals blanket, football on multiple screens—apparently our household loyalty travels well.

Away for work, still representing. Jake’s Minnesota setup proves our Cardinals household has a satellite office.

Still, I want that first Cardinals game together. Now we can plan the food around the game we actually attend and make sure my birria ambitions match our tickets.
