The best thing about Arizona in the fall and winter is hands down the weather! With great weather, comes great responsibility… to be outside as much as possible, and enjoying amazing food!

This fall, there are plenty of amazing family friendly food festivals to attend, and we’ve got the scoop on them all.

2018 Fall Food Festivals

Arizona Taco Festival

Because what’s better than tacos? On October 13th and 14th, the taco revolution returns as the ninth annual Arizona Taco Festival takes over 10 acres of grass of Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. One of the largest and most exciting food festivals in the nation, the 2018 AZ Taco Fest will feature everything from live bands and lucha libre wrestling, to an eating contest and the popular Chihuahua dog beauty pageant. Over 60 restaurants are preparing tacos for $2 each. Tickets are $12 online and $15 at the gate or you can go VIP for $100 which includes drinks and tacos. Kids 12 and under receive free entry.

Phoenix Pizza Festival

On November 17th, top pizza makers will come together for a beautiful day out in the November sunshine at Margaret T. Hance Park for the fourth annual Phoenix Pizza Festival! All vendors will offer $2 and $4 sample pizzas as well as half and whole pies for you and your family and friends to enjoy. There will be live music, lots of local businesses to meet, and an interactive kid’s craft zone. Tickets are $10, kids under 5 are free.

Downtown Donut Festival

The very first Downtown Donut Festival will take over Margaret T. Hance park in Phoenix on Sunday, November 18th. Festivalgoers can devour delicious donuts from over 15 of the best local donut shops. Craft beer, mimosas, coffee, music, a kids zone and sunshine will be the icing on the donut. Tickets are $8 for adults, kids under 5 are free.

Spooktacular Balloon Festival

Why wait for Halloween when the eigth annual Spooktacular Balloon Festival is returning to Salt River Fields on Friday and Saturday, October 26th and 27th from 5pm until 9:30pm. Don’t miss the dozens of glowing hot-air balloon rides, nightly firework shows, live music and more. Kids of all ages will love this spectacularly spooky festival featuring a pumpkin patch and a free KidsZone. Not to mention, more than 20 majestic hot air balloons illuminating the sky as they participate in the world’s longest continuous glow at over 3 hours, as well as offering tethered balloon rides to kids and family looking to “soar” into the night’s sky. Tickets are $10 for kids, $15 for adults.
