Eat Healthy This Summer at Bobby Q’s
Named one of the nation’s 30 best BBQ restaurants by OpenTable, Bobby Q Great Steak & Real BBQ is known for its rib-sticking menu of house-smoked and fork-tender meats. But there’s more to Bobby Q, including an all-new menu of farm-fresh, flavorful and doctor-approved summer protein bowls and salads, starting on Monday, June 11. Handcrafted by Bobby Q owner Bob Sikora and executive chef, Mark Hittle, each item was also given the seal of approval from Dr. Art Mollen, a renowned Biltmore-area physician and fitness expert best known for creating the Art Mullen Fitness Trail on the nearby Arizona Canal.
“These bowls and salads are the perfect way to get ready for the summer,” said Dr. Art Mollen. “It’s important to always eat a well-balanced diet, and these bowls are a great healthy option at Bobby Q.”
Freshly-prepared with premium ingredients, such as Purple Haze goat cheese, coconut infused basmati rice, and wood-fired rotisserie chicken, the items tempt both vegetarians and BBQ fans alike. Offered daily exclusively at Bobby Q’s Biltmore location, the summer protein bowls and salads will be available through fall. Full menu below. Sonoran Bowl- $12 | Organic black beans, traditional guacamole, mango salsa, soyrizo, coconut rice, cashew cream and toasted pepitas served on a bed of julienned romaine
Phoenician Bowl- $12 | Coconut infused Basmati rice, peanut sauce, garlic and herb infused lentils, mango salsa, fresh pineapple, avocado and toasted pumpkin seeds served on a bed of spinach
Sedona Bowl- $12 | Tri-colored quinoa, organic white beans, roasted butternut squash, cilantro cashew pesto, seared red peppers and onions, served on a bed of shredded kale
Bob’s Salad- $11 | Wood fired rotisserie chicken, walnuts, Fuji apples, sweet cranberries, thinly sliced celery hearts and Purple Haze goat cheese, tossed in Dijon vinaigrette
Kale Salad- $10 | Turkish apricots, slice red beets, toasted almonds, Fuji apples, feta cheese, seared red peppers and onions, tossed in white balsamic dressing
Market Green Salad- $10 | Roasted butternut squash, pomegranate, toasted pumpkin seeds, goat cheese, picked herbs, cider vinaigrette
