While its true that Easter falls on April Fools Day this year, your 2018 Scottsdale Easter Brunch options are no joke! Some holidays have their decadent dinner spreads, but brunch on Easter just feels right. We’ve got the skinny on all the spots whether you are looking for fancy or casual, or locations with Easter bunny photo opps and egg hunts.

Welcoming spring, the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is celebrating Easter with an exquisite brunch featuring cuisine from four different restaurants, Easter egg hunts and Bunnyland activities for the whole family, April 1, 2018.  The events and décor are inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic tales of Alice in Wonderland with Mad Tea Party touches and featuring appearances by Alice, the Hatter, the White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, Tweedledee, Tweedledum and garden fairies.
For a fantastic Easter brunch, chefs from Fairmont Scottsdale’s four distinctive restaurants are coming together to create one elaborate culinary feast in the Palomino Ballroom of the AAA Five Diamond resort. With a whimsical indoor garden theme of fanciful trees, tea party sets and parasols, brunch features popular selections from Bourbon Steak, La Hacienda, Ironwood American Kitchen and Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar, accompanied by decadent desserts from the resort’s pastry shop. Easter Brunch will be served from 9am until 3pm. The price is $109 for adults or $49 for children ages 6 through 12. Children 5 and younger dine for free with the purchase of an adult brunch. Make sure to carve out some time for the Easter egg hunts taking place every half hour beginning at 10am and running until 4pm on the Sunset Lawn.

Fat Ox

Start a new Easter tradition with a delightful Italian-accented feast at Fat Ox in Scottsdale. Combining a gourmet European-style antipasto buffet and dessert bar with the ability to choose your own chef-crafted entrée, Fat Ox’s Easter Brunch will be served from 10am until 2pm on Sunday, April 1st. Plus don’t miss the irresistible selection of sparkling brunch cocktails.
Handcrafted by Chef Matt Carter, Fat Ox’s first-annual Easter Brunch kicks off with a classic antipasto buffet brimming with the finest imported cheeses, meats and veggies, paired with fresh-baked Tammie Coe breakfast breads. Then choose your own entrée from Chef Matt Carter’s personal selection of his favorite Italian brunch fare. You can then finish in refined style with Fat Ox’s decadently delicious dessert and pastry bar. Fat Ox’s Eater Brunch is priced at $85 per person, or $25 for children aged 7 to 12.

Granada Bar & Grill, located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Scottsdale Resort is featuring a special Easter Brunch Buffet crafted by newly appointed Executive Chef, Ken Arneson. The Easter Brunch Buffet is offered from 10am until 3pm $59 for adults and $24 for children. Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys will also be available for $14. The expansive buffet will include a variety of salads, pastries, charcuterie, traditional eggs benedict, baked chicken roulade, pan seared salmon, slow roasted prime rib along with an omelet station and more.

Spend Easter enjoying inspired California cuisine and a bottle of wine, in a space that offers the same warmth and comfort of dining at home. At the Greene House, guests can unwind while feasting on Easter specials: stuffed French toast, Spring vegetable frittata, and $6 mimosas and Bloody Marys. These will be offered in addition to the regular menu until 3pm.

Hash Kitchen will be open on Easter Sunday for Easter brunch from 7am to 3:30pm. Special Easter brunch dishes include cannoli donuts, fried-to-order sweet dough covered with sugar-cinnamon and complete with cannoli cream, brown sugar ham made with smoked brown sugar ham, smashed sweet potatoes, and heirloom carrots, and leg of lamb hash with oven roasted leg of lamb, hash potatoes, poached eggs, and rosemary demi. The build-your-own Bloody Mary bar, live DJ music and an appearance by the Easter Bunny will also be there.

Hotel Valley Ho

The iconic Hotel Valley Ho in Old Town Scottsdale is celebrating Easter with an Easter egg hunt, a full buffet, and all-day dining at ZuZu. The Valley Ho Easter Buffet is from 10am until 2pm in Sands. Enjoy a delicious array of salads, sides, seafood, entrees and sweets, along with omelet and waffle stations. ZuZu is offering brunch from 6am until 2:30pm. The annual Easter Egg Hunt starts at 9am on the ZuZu patio and includes prizes. The buffet will be $59 per person. Children 12 and under can join the buffet for $19.

On Sunday, April 1st, families are invited to join in Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa’s “egg-cellent” Easter Celebration featuring a brunch buffet in SWB, live music, our “larger-than-life” Easter egg, home to a live bunny, a very special petting zoo and Mr. and Mrs. Cottontail as they host their 31st annual Easter Egg Hunt available to all resort guests and those joining us for Easter Brunch. A most delightful way to celebrate this glorious Spring holiday! Hyatt Regency Scottsdale’s Easter Brunch Buffet will be offering a variety of favorites like omelets made-to-order, Southwest eggs florentine, brioche French toast, soups and assorted salads, chilled Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, mussels on the half-shell, smoked Scottish salmon with traditional accompaniments and assorted sushi and pastas. Guests are invited to hop on in to Market Street Kitchen on Easter Sunday, April 1st, to enjoy a bevy of delicious dishes from 9am until 3pm. Brunch specials will include mascarpone stuffed French toast, crispy pork belly eggs benedict, breakfast quiche and a golden beet salad. Prices will vary based on selections.

Olive & Ivy

There’s no better way to relish the springtime weather than brunching under the shady trees of Olive & Ivy’s patio. Opening early at 9am, Olive & Ivy will offer all its brunch favorites plus an Easter special of Smoked Salmon Benedict (until 3pm) and several items from its dinner menu including the Sea Scallops, Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, and Sweet Potato Cannelloni. Proof Canteen

Proof, an American Canteen, also will offer an enhanced breakfast and brunch buffet from 7am to 1pm as well as Easter Sunday Sauce Dinner specials. The Proof brunch buffet is $42 per person for adults, and $20 for children ages 5 to 12. Kids will enjoy a bouncy house and Easter-themed crafts and activities including egg decorating and face-painting.  Families will want to capture the special holiday moments as the Resort’s youngest guests participate in two egg hunts at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. with views of Pinnacle Peak in the background.  Plus, the Easter Bunny will make special appearances throughout the day. Roaring Fork hosts a gourmet Easter Brunch with a rugged western edge by on Sunday, April 1st from 10am to 2pm. The buffet style menu offers a bread table, savory cold & hot item station, egg & meat carving tables with ham and roast beef as well as a tasty dessert station. Menu items include sticky buns, assorted pastries, smoked salmon platter, salads, prime rib, sausage and cheese scrambled eggs. Vegetable migas, buttermilk fried chicken with green chile gravy, huckleberry French toast, chocolate pancakes and more. The cost for Easter Brunch will be $39 for adults.

Salty Sow

Visit Salty Sow Easter Sunday on April 1st from 10am-2pm for a specialty brunch buffet featuring breakfast and lunch items including honey rosemary dipped fried chicken and waffles, banana chocolate chip French toast, green chile pork topped with poached eggs, pork belly hash, fried green tomatoes, guacamole and more. You can enjoy this special brunch for only $24.95 per person.

The Plaza is egg-cited to welcome Spring with an Easter Sunday Brunch from 10am until 3pm on Sunday, April 1st. Indulge in a delectable array of culinary specialties on a buffet that includes a variety of seafood items like jumbo tiger shrimp and oysters on the half shell. Sonata’s Restaurant hosts a gourmet Easter Brunch with a modern European flair on Sunday, April 1st from 10am until 5pm, including a visit from the Easter Bunny who has special gifts for children! The buffet offerings include three meat-carving stations and waffle, seafood and egg stations, along with salads, appetizers, sweets and a variety of side dishes. Menu items will include prime rib, slow roasted porchetta, organic turkey, eggs and omelets with your choice of add-ins, shellfish option, salads, among others. The cost of the brunch will be $65 for adults and $20 for children 11 and under.

The Resort’s annual Easter buffet will be served from 10am to 2pm in Talavera.  A “Seafood & Raw Bar” will highlight oysters on the half shell, poached shrimp, scallop crudo and tuna tartare. Enjoy a “brunch on a bagel” bar with assorted bagels, orange-tarragon and mustard-smoked salmon, gin-cured salmon gravlax, traditional smoked salmon and house-made accoutrements. Fruit, bakery and salad offerings include kombucha on tap, grappa and vanilla bean pineapple, strawberry rhubarb yogurt parfait, zucchini bread, cherry turnovers, and shaved asparagus salad. Guests can enjoy multiple made-to-order options this year including a custom-made omelet filled with their choice of ham, chorizo, southwest chicken sausage, lump crab, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and more or a custom-made Indian puri puri pockets filled to order with chana masala, vegetable korma or saag paneer.
