Events | In Queso You Didn’t Know, the Rockin Taco Rumble is Coming

Posted on: February 24th, 2018 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Here’s the deal, if you don’t love tacos then I’m just nacho type! In addition to my deep affection for food-related puns, I’m also a hardcore taco lover so imagine my delight to hear about the first ever Rockin Taco Rumble. The Rumble is described as a competition spin-off of the already popular Rockin Taco Street Fest that’s held each Fall in Chandler. As a certified taco judge (my credentials with the National Taco Association go back to 2011), I love a good show of friendly (and delicious) competition and there will be that in spades on March 2nd.

The inaugural Rockin Taco Rumble is coming to downtown Phoenix on March 2, 2018

THE BASICS

Your entry into the 21 and over inaugural Rockin Taco Rumble will allow you unlimited taco sampling, six beers or cocktails and all the water or soda you can handle. You’ll also be an integral part of the People’s Choice competition casting your vote for your very favorite bites.
The doors open at 6pm and the taco party will keep going until 9pm.
A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Community Alliance, a membership-based organization focused on the leaders of Downtown Phoenix.

THE BITES

Uno, dos, tres, tacos! There will be tacos for days (okay, maybe not days but you get it) and you’re going to want to try them all!

What Restaurants Will Be Participating in the Rockin Taco Rumble?

  • El Jefe Tacos
  • Gett’ Yo Taco
  • Helio Basin
  • Jamburritos
  • Modern Tortilla
  • Super Farm
  • Taco Bout It More Taco Truck
  • Taco Guild
  • Taste of New Mexico
  • Willie’s Taco Joint
  • Z’Tejas

THE BUCKS

Tickets can be purchased online now for $45 with the cost rising to $55 at the gate.

Don’t miss your chance to check out this great festival happening in downtown Phoenix and get your fill of some of the best tacos in the Valley.
