Technology | GoodTil2 Launches For Foodies, Spreading Local Love

Posted on: June 15th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

It’s happened to all of us; you’re midway through the day and are already planning where to go for dinner. You’re, obviously, a conscious consumer and want to make sure that you keep your hardearned dollars within the community. How do you figure out the best local spots near you or within the specific cuisine you’re craving? GoodTil2 is going to make your quest for good local eats easier.

GoodTil2Mark and Kasia Blum have created GoodTil2 for a few reasons. Let’s run through them, shall we?

More Exposure to Great Local Restaurants

The first is to support local restaurants. With so many chains in the Valley, if you’re not in the know, you could end up heading out to an eatery with name recognition. The specially curated website will feature only locally owned and operated restaurants of all sizes and cuisines. The goal is to help promote these great local spots.

Restaurants are currently able to list their locations for free, providing their own photos along with three specials that can be redeemed through the GoodTil2 app. Restaurants can ix up their deals, providing a new cycle of three each day, or offering up the same three for a specific amount of time.

What are the benefits for foodies?

I sat down with Mark and Kasia at El Palacio to go over every aspect of the site. Check out the video and get the full scoop on all the benefits! (There’s a bit of ambient noise because El Palacio is a phenomenal and busy local spot.)

GoodTil2 is launching officially on June 15th, so make sure to sign up and start rating and visiting your local favorites. You can expect to find more and more restaurants being added all the time, so be sure to check in often to see who’s been added as well as to redeem the special daily incentives.

(Humble brag) You can also check out some of my reviews, announcements and articles on the GoodTil2 blog. Our partnership is born from a shared love of great food and passion to support all things local!
