Sunday, April 16th is Easter and, for some, is the true mark of the arrival of Spring. While some are drawn to egg hunts and photo opps with the Easter bunny, PhoenixBites is all about the food. It’s time to step up your brunch game with the most epic events on Easter Sunday. On the Menu | Beckett’s Table will open an hour early to accommodate hungry diners looking for special menu items. Don’t miss out on the Easter deviled eggs, dyed with red and golden beets and spinach. The special dish is completed with a carrot gelee, spring peas and clover; all the best things of Easter all wrapped up in one dish! The restaurant will also feature half-off bottles of Arizona wine.

Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails

On the Menu | Executive Chef Sean Currid will be preparing a picnic-inspired buffet for the holiday featuring an array of Southern classics including Cornbread with honey butter, Black Eye Pea Salad, Spiced Watermelon, Potato Salad, Biscuits and Gravy, Spring Vegetable Succotas, Chicken and Waffles, Barbeque Oysters, Roasted Sucking Pig and an assortment of Southern pies and seasonal sweet tarts.

Coup Des Tartes
Cost | $47 for adults, $15 for children, prices do not include tax or gratuity and parties of 6 or more will have a 22% gratuity added to your bill
On the Menu | Coup Des Tartes is offering a very special three course Easter menu with options like sweet cream crepes, Italian sausage tarte and escargot for your first course. Second course options include a French country omelet, a crispy pork belly benedict, a filet benedict, crab cakes or a caramelized banana French toast. Finish up your meal with your choice of Meyer lemon tarte, chocolate raspberry truffle tarte or a classic cheesecakes topped with fresh berries. The restaurant will also feature a special brunch menu just for the kids with macaroni and cheese, pancakes and an ice cream brownie sundae.

On the Menu | Easter Sunday is the perfect time to get together and break bread with your family and friends. Why go through the hassle of shopping, cooking and cleaning up, when you can enjoy a chef-crafted 3-courseEaster brunch at Crudo. Chef Cullen Campbell will be whipping up a three-course brunch celebration featuring traditional brunch favorites, plus twists on traditional brunch dishes. Think Calabrian Octopus with green garlic buttermilk, celery pickles, Spring Onion Crepes with fonduta and truffle conserva. On the Menu | Guests seeking a fun, casual vibe, and maybe a round or two of cornhole, can celebrate Easter at Culinary Dropout. On the Menu | Easter falls on April 16 and Gertrude’s, the highly touted full-service restaurant located just inside the Desert Botanical Garden entrance, is offering menu specials to commemorate the holiday. The restaurant is featuring special lamb, vegetarian, and fish items starting at 10:30am until they are sold through. You can choose from a pea and goat cheese tart ($14), leg of lamb ($36) or steelhead fillet ($24).

Rusconi’s American Kitchen

On the Menu | Chef Rusconi is known for creating regional cuisine that is affordable and approachable and this Easter Sunday won’t be any different. You can start off your brunch feast with house-smoked salmon and dill blini, warm berry and mascarpone crepes, baby greens with clue cheese fritters, kale and romaine salad or grilled peaches with arugula. Main course options include an Easter quiche, steak and eggs, gulf shrimp and blue crab benedict, apple glazed pork tenderloin, garlic and herb roasted rack of spring lamb, pan roasted sea bass or a grilled beef tenderloin. No meal is complete without dessert so choose between a strawberry budino, carrot cake or dark chocolate crème brûlée s’more.

Scramble

On the Menu | Scramble announced that both restaurants will be open from 6am until 2pm. To celebrate, the Easter Bunny will be at both Scramble locations giving away treats to all the kids that day. Scramble will post a special Easter 2017 album on its Phoenix and Scottsdale Facebook pages highlighting everyone who visits with the Easter Bunny. “We are always looking for new ways to add value for our customers,” said Co-Owner Clay Moizo. “By opening on Easter Sunday we’re able to provide holiday breakfast and brunch alternatives for those who prefer to eat out. Employees working that day were scheduled on a volunteer basis and will all be receiving extra compensation for their dedication to our customers.”

Southern Rail
