Four For the Weekend is our way of searching through all the food focused events in the Valley and picking our top picks, creating a list of the best ways to eat and drink your way through the weekend. This weekends list is full of the very best bites! Deciding on where to go this weekend is going to be tough, but you can do it!

Taste of Montelucia Cooking Class: Margaritas & Chile Rellenos

When | Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5pm until 6pm
Where | Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia| 4949 E. Lincoln Road | Scottsdale | 85253
What | Did you know that the Omni hosts monthly cooking classes? Learn from the Omni Scottsdale’s expert culinary team with monthly cooking classes featuring the most flavorful, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Paired with each cooking class, enjoy a mini mixology lesson. Gather around the table for an afternoon sure to please your palette and the foodie in you. Each event is limited to just 14 people. This month’s class will feature margaritas and chile rellenos and will be hosted by Chef Laura Gonzalez in Centro.
How Much | $30 per person or $50 per couple.

When | Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 10am until 5pm
Where | Tempe Beach Park
What | This family friendly event is welcome to all. Guests will become immersed in traditional food, dance and other activities. There will be a host of vendors on hand to help you celebrate the flavors, tradition and culture of the islands.

Carlson Creek Vineyard 2nd Annual Pruning Seminar & Bonfire

When | Saturday, March 11 from 5pm until 8pm
Where | Carlson Creek Vineyard | 115 Railview Ave. | Willcox | 85643
What | Wine lovers throughout the state who are interested in getting hands-on experience in working on a vineyard, along with one-on-one time with the winemakers of Carlson Creek Vineyard. On Saturday, March 11 at 5pm, the third largest vineyard in the state will be hosting their 2nd Annual Pruning Seminar & Bonfire at their 280-acre vineyard in Willcox. Guests will enjoy a one-on-one lesson in pruning with winemakers Robert Carlson III and John Carlson, followed by roasting marshmallows over the bonfire to enjoy s’mores and other snacks paired with wines from the Carlson Creek portfolio. To attend ($25 per person or FREE for Carlson Creek Wine Society members), RSVP by emailing info@carlsoncreek.com. For more information on Carlson Creek Vineyard or to purchase their award-winning wines, visit CarlsonCreek.com, call 520.766.3000 or connect with them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

What | 6th Street Market blends art, live music and the community weekly in the heart of Downtown Tempe – Mill Avenue & Lake Districts. Located in the popular 6th Street Park, this new market has just about everything. Local shopping, works of art, live music, fantastic brunch offers nearby, and interactive art projects, all blended with community yoga and other elements. With its centralized location to the Downtown, you can find everything you need here. Sundays from 10am until 4pm, through May.
