Chico Malo Hiring Fair | Work at the most anticipated spot of 2017

It feels as though we have been waiting endlessly for the opening of Chico Malo, but with the news about their upcoming hiring fair this week I know it’s coming soon! The Chico Malo hiring fair will welcome the best of the best to apply this Thursday, March 9th through Sunday, March 12th from 11am until 7pm.

Chico Malo Hiring FairThey are looking to hire close to 125 positions; from cooks to servers, bartenders to dishwasher and managers. This is a great opportunity to align yourself and your skills with one of the most anticipated restaurants of the year.

The South American-influences menu and aesthetic are bold and inventive, as you should be, too. The space is guaranteed to evoke emotion from the specially commissioned artwork to the vibrant colors all throughout. Equally the menu will give you all the feels. Executive Chef Steve “Chops” Smith (who we first met when working with Chef Peter DeRuvo at Prado back in the day) along with contributing chef Patricio Alvite have worked hard to create a menu that evokes that “bad boy” feel while leaving guests with full and happy bellies.

Chef Patricio Alvite comes to Chico Malo from Joyride Tacos but has also worked at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas along with working alongside Joël Robuchon, Michael Mina and Tom Colicchio to name drop just a little.

Chef Steve “Chops” Smith comes to Chico by way of Fat Ox and before that Olive & Ivy, Amara Resort in Sedona and the previously mentioned Prado.

Not a bad group of people to work for and learn from!
