Sweet Provisions Coming to Scottsdale in March

Posted on: February 27th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Hoping for some sweet news today? A new gourmet ice cream parlor and fresh-baked dessert shop, Sweet Provisions, is opening up in Scottsdale on March 1st. The newest sweet spot will feature a host of sweet treats for a midday pick me up or as a reward after a long hard day.

sweet provisions openingThe dessert shop is a product of Common Ground Culinary, a restaurant group headed by chef/owner Christopher Collins. Inside a vivid, retro-modern space you’ll find an ever-evolving menu of freshly churned ice cream, frosty floats, and decadent milkshakes along with fresh from the oven cookies, brownies and pies. Sweet Provisions will utilize local all natural ingredients and all the sweet treats will be made from scratch with an extra dash of love.

Sweet Provisions’ mouth-watering menu is emphasized by premium house-made ice creams such as Georgia peach pie, triple shot coffee, toasted walnuts + maple syrup, or pistachio + candied bacon, all presented on your preference of a sugar cone, waffle cone, and even cake cone (whaat?). Or shake things up with a standup-spoon-thick milkshake such as the campfire s’more (chocolate + chocolate ice cream, fudge, graham crackers, burnt marshmallow) or a throwback frosty float (root beer, vanilla cream, orange crush, Dr. Pepper, cherry cola). Pair your ice cream with a hot-baked-daily cookie for a build-your-own ice cream sandwich, or add an a la mode scoop to any of Sweet Provisions’ house-baked treats, including brownies and bars such as Ghirardelli toffee, Scottsdale blonde or lemon tart. Plus, dig into Sweet Provisions’ soon-to-be-famous house-made pies by the slice or the whole pie, such as the strawberry rhubarb or banana cream. And have your fill of the most outstanding modern and old school candies when you mix and match from the collection of more than 30 distinct kinds of candy.

I, for one, cannot wait to check out that Georgia peach pie ice cream and I’ll definitely be checking out that cake cone. What are you looking most forward to at Sweet Provisions?
