Celebrate National Crepe Day with FREE crepes at The Crepe Club
If you haven’t yet tried out The Crepe Club (why the heck not?!) you’re definitely going to want to pop in to one of their three locations on Thursday, February 2nd. Not only will you be blown away by the flavors of the creative crepes available from The Crepe Club, in recognition of National Crepe Day there will be two special crepes that you will get to sample…for free!
The Tarabichi brothers, Karim, Omar and Fares, started The Crepe Club originally as a food cart on the campus of ASU back in 2014. Since then they have amassed three brick and mortar locations. As a way of saying thank you to ASU for allowing them to establish their rapidly growing business, will bring back the original cart on National Crepe Day to hand out free crepes to students.
How can you get some free crepes from The Crepe Club on National Crepe Day?
- On Thursday, February 2, people can pick up a free Nutella or Parisian (butter and sugar) on the ASU Main Campus in Tempe from 10am until 1pm.
- The Crepe Club will also be giving away free Nutella and Parisian crepes at its other two locations in the Biltmore Fashion Park and San Tan Village from 11am until 5pm.
- The offer is restricted to one per person and for take away only.
How did National Crepe Day come about?
National Crepe Day originated from the Catholic holiday of Candlemas when the Virgin Mary presented the baby Jesus. Over the years it came to be recognized in France as “jour de crepes”, Crepe Day, perhaps because the Pope at the time was known for feeding crepes to the pilgrims who visited the church.
Make sure to give The Crepe Club a visit on February 2nd, and many days after that. You’ll love the simple flavors of crepe combinations that they have as well as the hypnotic display where you can watch the crepes being made before your eyes.
