Liberty Station to Open in February 2017

Posted on: January 16th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

With the transition into a new year, excitement always flourishes when we find out of a new restaurant opening. 2016 was a big year for new restaurant and we already have an inkling that 2017 is going to bring even bigger news and changes. One of those restaurants is sure to be Liberty Station.

The new restaurant is being promoted as an American tavern and smokehouse and is set to open up in February. Liberty Station comes to us from the same founders of Market Street Kitchen in DC Ranch and Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops in Omaha, Nebraska.

The restaurant will be open everyday for lunch and dinner, Liberty Station will serve American comfort food with local touches, including several nods to the Keeler family’s Boston roots. The bar at Liberty Station will offer vintage cocktails created in an absolutely classic fashion, and regional craft beers, plus a full collection of wine selections.

Acclaimed Executive Chef Michael Hunn and Chef de Cuisine Dan Watts will head the kitchen. The pair has formed a menu using many locally sourced ingredients, which involve creative “shareable” appetizers, sandwiches, pasta and salads. Entrees will present fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Liberty Station will smoke many of their high quality meats from Creekstone Farms on a custom-made smoker (made by Camelback Smokers), openly featured on the west side patio of the restaurant.
