Finger Lickin’ Good: Fried Chicken Sunday Supper at The Gladly

Posted on: January 5th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

When I was growing up in Illinois and living with my Aunt Susan, we always had the same dinner every Sunday. It was something that I constantly looked forward to and arrived right on time for the meal. You could smell that familiar fragrance the moment you walked into the house. Smelling it now conjures up such comforting memories. Looking to create that kind of memory for yourself, in the most deliciously delightful way? Head over to The Gladly on Sundays for a Fried Chicken Sunday Supper. Don’t expect for the dinners to be old -fashioned and boring, not by any stretch of the imagination.

The Gladly’s Fall Sunday Supper series was so successful that they are going to take the classic Americana dish of fried chicken and reinvent it each week Chef Ben Graham will create a fresh take on the Fried Chicken Sunday Supper each week. While the fried chicken will certainly be the star, the sides that will be served aren’t too shabby either! You can expect dishes like Bernie’s Mac ‘n Cheese, collard greens, and even rice waffles with kimchi glaze and pickled daikon.

The Gladly’s Fried Chicken Sunday Supper’s will be available every Sunday from 3pm until 10pm. For only $25 (not including tax and gratuity) you’ll get a half chicken with the featured sides of the week. Reservations are not required, but it’s never a bad idea!
