The holidays are a stressful time, for all sorts of reasons. The cleaning that needs to be done to prep for all the guests coming to your home, pulling out all of the “good” dishes, the shopping, the cooking; its just all so much. If you can’t convince the rest of the family to go out to dinner (or maybe it’s for the best that you all stay at your place) but the idea of all of the work involved in Thanksgiving dinner has you running for the hills, a few local restaurants have you covered with their Thanksgiving Takeaway specials.

Thanksgiving Takeaway | Save a little space on the Thanksgiving dessert table for one of Chef Justin Beckett’s award-winning Fig & Pecan pies. Available for pre-order for $28 from Beckett’s Table and Southern Rail from now until Sunday, Nov. 20, this twist on the classic southern pie is giving its pumpkin counterpart a run for its money. Dinner guests will be swooning over this memorable dessert which boasts a perfectly balanced fruit and nut filling and a tender, flaky crust. For an added flavor bonus, this delectable pie can be served alongside a pint of Chef Beckett’s house-made citrus zest cream cheese ice cream, available for $8.
Notice Required for Pre-Order | Orders must be placed prior to Sunday, November 20th and pies will be available for pick-up between 11am and 6pm on November 23rd. Your pies will need to be picked up at the location in which you ordered them from.

Thanksgiving Takeaway | Chompie’s is determined to make your holiday easier. You can order a traditional full meal package for $209.99, which will feed 12-15 people (generously.) If you’re looking for just the bird, that will run you $99.99 (or $124.99 for a carved turkey.) Pies are available along with a variety of sides.
Notice Required for Pre-Order | Whole turkey orders and large dinner packages need to be ordered 72 hours in advance of pick-up on November 23rd or 24th.

Thanksgiving Takeaway | Luci’s has you covered, whether you are looking for a full meal or just a few sides. The full meal is available for $169.99 and will feed $169.99 (plus tax.) You’ll receive a 12-14 pound pew-cooked, locally roasted turkey, turkey gravy, fresh cranberry sauce with local honey, a dozen dinner rolls, cornbread stuffing, seasonal vegetables, Yukon gold mashed potatoes along with a pumpkin pie. You can also get all of those items a la carte.

If you’re looking for the whole she-bang, you can get 1 whole herb butter basted turkey, 2.5 lbs of buttered cornbread stuffing, 2 lbs of candied pecan sweet potatoes, 3 lbs of whipped mashed potatoes, 2.5 lbs of green bean casserole, 12 oz. of apple cranberry orange relish, 32 oz. of turkey gravy, 2 carrot nut loaves and 1 whole brown sugar pumpkin pie, enough food to feed 8 to 10 adults for only $89.99. If you are looking to make the bird yourself, but don’t want to be bogged down with all the sides, you can order  3 lbs. of whipped mashed potatoes, 2 lbs of candied pecan sweet potatoes, 2.5 lbs of buttered cornbread stuffing, 32 oz. of turkey gravy, 2.5 lbs of green bean casserole and 12 oz. of apple cranberry orange relish for only $42.99. Maybe you’re having people over early, making their brunch special a perfect fit. You’ll get a choice of 6 fresh-baked croissants or muffins, 1.5 lbs of fresh seasonal fruit and 6 quiches, any combination of Quiche Lorraine or Quiche Florentine for $42.99. All of the packages include enough food for 8 to 10 adults.

Mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, hot pastrami, a variety of bread, potato pancakes, whole pies and much more. Prices range from $3.79 to $14. You can pick up cream ($24) or fruit pies ($22) that are Arizona famous, without the long drive. Bonus – a portion of the proceeds from all pumpkin pies sold will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona.
