Event season is upon us and with the phenomenal weather it is the perfect time to get out and explore all that our city and state offers. The Hermosa Inn and LON’s have a ton of options to make sure that you can incorporate culture, education, great food, and lasting memories into the season.

November 6, 2016 | Artist in Residence Dinner Featuring Author Adriana Trigiani | 6:30pm | $99

The author of All the Stars in the Heavens, the blockbuster The Shoemaker’s Wife, the Valentine trilogy and Lucia, Lucia, Trigiani will celebrate the release of her cookbook, Cooking with My Sisters: One Hundred Years of Family Recipes, from Italy to Big Stone Gap Years. The evening will include a multi-course dinner with wine prepared by LON’s Executive Chef Jeremy Pacheco, sprightly conversation with Trigiani and a book signing to follow.

November 12, 2016 | Mimosas & Monet with Carrie Curran Art Studios | 9:30am | $75

From enthusiastic beginners to emerging professionals, accomplished artist Carrie Curran will teach, inspire and guide guests on an artistic journey while using acrylic on canvas to create their very own masterpiece this month, the Blue Door.

November 19, 2016 | Holiday Cooking Class & Wine Seminar | 11am | $89

November Events at The Hermosa Inn_holiday-cooking-class-wine-seminarLearn how to prepare an entire holiday meal on the grill, along with wine pairings for each course. The scents of holiday cooking will fill the air while the tastes bring back favorite holiday memories.

November 17, 2016 | Arizona Wine Dinner with Chef Gregory Wiener & Burning Tree Cellars | 6pm | $99

November 24, 2016 | Thanksgiving at LON’s | 12pm | $75

November Events ar The Hermosa Inn_thanksgiving-at-lons-at-the-hermosaJoin family and friends for a Thanksgiving meal at LON’s at the Hermosa, as the culinary team creates a three-course prix-fixe meal featuring contemporary Southwestern takes on traditional holiday favorites. Highlights include roasted apple and squash soup, smoked beet and king oyster mushroom salad, roasted natural turkey, grilled dry-aged pork chop, classic pumpkin pie and pecan-apple crostata, among other selections. *Guests aged 5 to 12 will be $25, and guests aged 4 and under will be complimentary.
