Sauce Pizza & Wine Now Open in Gilbert

Posted on: October 17th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Pizza loving East side dwellers have something to celebrate: the opening of the first Sauce Pizza & Wine location in Gilbert.

The newest location is open now and located in the Rivulon center at the corner of Gilbert Road and Rivulon Boulevard, which is just North of the lower 202. Sauce Pizza & Wine is one of the first businesses to open in the new multi-tenant retail building.

“We’re looking forward to introducing the Sauce brand to the city of Gilbert and think Rivulon will make a great home for our first restaurant here,” says Scott Kilpatrick, CEO of Sauce Pizza & Wine. “Between the growing neighborhoods and large companies expanding into this area, we recognized the need for a family-friendly, fast-casual dining spot that serves high-quality, freshly-prepared food. We know that guests will be pleased with the addition.”

Never been to Sauce Pizza & Wine?

This fast casual eatery is known for having a strong collection of made-from-scratch Italian dishes. They offer diners a variety of bruschettas, salads, signature pizzas, pasta, and paninis. Full disclosure: I am not a huge pizza person, however(!) Sauce Pizza & Wine has a Rosemary Potato ($9.75) pizza that makes my heart and stomach so very happy. This out of the box pizza features rosemary roasted potatoes (as the name would suggest) as well as spinach, creamy feta, and a delightfully briny olive tapenade. The unique flavor combinations don’t end there, the menu also features a Bacon & Brussels Spout pizza, Chicken Caesar & Parmesan pizza as well as the opportunity to build your own.

Already Love Sauce Pizza & Wine?

You’ll find all the dishes that you have come to love, as well as some new items like their Caprese Skewers, Sopressata & Asparagus Bruschetta, and Pesto & Marinated Tomatoes pasta. You’ll have the option of choosing between original thin crust, an artisan hand-stretched crust made from scratch, in-house daily as well as a gluten-free crust option. Elevate your dining experience by adding on a panini or indulging in dessert or anything from their beer and wine menu.
