Scramble Continues Cooking Classes for Kids

Posted on: August 16th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Some of my best memories from my childhood are of being in the kitchen with my grandmother. She had the hefty task of raising 14 children and that meant creating a lot of meals. She was an amazing cook and by the time I was able to spend time with her; the pressure was off and we were able to take our time in the kitchen and I really learned a lot from her. I try to continue that tradition with my children not only to help them learn how to feed themselves but also to give them some lasting memories. Scramble–A Breakfast Joint get it and they have a new initiative for 2016.

The trend of using locally sourced products has reached an all-time high. When you combine that with the popularity of cooking shows that focus on the talents of kids, Scramble has amped up their cooking classes for kids. The new initiative, Think Global–Eat Local, has farmers and artisan purveyors taking the spotlight with Scramble’s quarterly hands-on cooking classes.
