Picnic Lunches and More at Okra This June
Okra Cookhouse & Cocktails, a Southern food lovers go-to destination, wants to help make this hot, hot summer a little cooler for you. There is a bounty of summertime activities that they have planned from wine-fueled picnic lunches, hot dog happy hours and a very special dinner.
For the entire month of June, every Saturday will bring intimate picnic lunches complete with wine pairings. The picnic lunches will be held at 1pm and will include a 3-course feast. Each of the picnic lunches will feature local wine experts, such as Damien Kanser of Vias Imports and Joanna Elans of Terry Theise Imports.

Okra’s Hot Dog Happy Hour
Need some motivation to get through another grueling work day at your nine to five? Come kick back at Okra’s new Hot Dog Happy Hour. Monday through Friday, Okra will be grilling up deliciously decadent Tender Belly franks during happy hour ,with different toppings being featured each day. You can come in and enjoy the wiener fest from 4pm until 6pm Monday through Friday and from 3pm until 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. You’ll also be able to take advantage of happy hour pricing on other select food and drink items.
Homeboy’s Hot Sauce Dinner with Chef Bernie Kantak on June 20, 2016
On Monday, June 20th, Okra will be hosting Arizona’s own Homeboy’s Hot Sauce for a special and certainly spicy dinner at 6pm. The dinner will feature Chef Bernie Kantak of Citizen Public House and The Gladly. This exclusive three-course dinner will cost $35 per person (not including tax or gratuity) with the option to add on wine, cocktail or beer pairings for an additional cost.
