8-Bitters Party for 2016 Phoenix Comic-Con
Are you planning on hitting up 2016 Phoenix Comic-Con next month? If you’re on the fence, we may have something to make it a little more enticing!
Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour will be transforming into an 8-bit paradise on Thursday, June 2nd. IN addition to the aesthetic upgrade, they will also be hosting a video game themed “8 Bitters” party. Doors will open at 8pm and the party will keep going until 2am. You’ll be able to enjoy their specially crafted “Warp Zone” cocktail menu. Comic-con attendees and those dressed in cosplay attire will receive special discounts. There will even be ‘power-up’ prizes for the best cosplay and make sure to take a picture with the ‘photo bomber’ all while enjoying live DJ music all night long.
In addition to the celebration being a nod to the 2016 Phoenix COmic-Con, the Bitter & Twisted party will also be celebrating their latest video game themed Book O’ Cocktails. The new Book O’ Cocktails was written by Ross Simon, B&T’s Principal Barman, and Proprietor. The book is 24 pages, colorfully illustrated by Matt Andrews and features a retro arcade vibe. “Just as last year’s edition was a tip of the hat to vintage sci-fi, we wanted to carry on our love of retro pop culture,” Simon says. “So this year’s Book o’ Cocktails is a salute to old-fashioned video games and a throwback to 8-bit technology.”
While the menu features 21 new and innovative cocktail creations, you’ll also find some of your tried and true favorites. Make sure you stop by Bitter & Twisted on June 2nd and join the “8-Bitter” party.
