Monthly Mashup Series Returns to Talavera
Talavera Welcomes Guest Chefs for Nights of Culinary Creativity
Mix it up with Talavera at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North this spring with the return of the Monthly Mashup series, kicking off on Sunday, March 20th with Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse and Chef Fidencio Alatriste. Each month, one prominent local chef will join forces with Talavera’s Executive Chef Mel Mecinas for an unpredictable evening of culinary fun.
“This is an amazing culinary community, with talent rivaling any major city,” says Mecinas. “We started the Mashup series last year to celebrate our local chefs and welcome new creativity into our kitchen. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to return this spring with an exciting new line up.”
The Spring 2016 Talavera Mashup Series:
- Sunday, March 20th: Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse featuring Chef Fidencio Alatriste
- Sunday, April 24th: Noble Eatery featuring Chef Claudio Urciuoli
- Sunday, May 22nd: L’Auberge Restaurant featuring Chef Rochelle Daniel
- Sunday, June 19th: El Chorro featuring Chef Kelly Fletcher
Each evening features a four-course tasting menu, with highlights from each chef’s culinary concept. The chef’s join forces for a specialty amuse course to start you off on your culinary journey. The cost for each event in the series is $95 per person, not including tax or gratuity.

Talavera introduces a modern take on the classic steakhouse, with unique steak and seafood pairings, comfort desserts, and a range of specialty sides, accompaniments and starters. Adjacent to Talavera, Onyx Lounge receives its namesake from the amber color ribboned onyx framing the bar. The Lounge showcases a menu of small plates and fresh, sweet and savory cocktail combinations.
