Brat Haus Arizona Beer Week Highlights
Arizona Beer Week is back, and Brat Haus has big plans to celebrate craft beer with a week full of themed events that will keep spirits high, bellies full and taste buds tantalized.
Kick off the week with a Speakeasy Brewing Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, February 11 from 4-7 p.m.
Then, on Sunday, February 14, Brat Haus will hosts a Valentine’s Day Chocolate & Beer Pairing, celebrating the holiday of love with a special chocolatey menu for $25 from noon to 9 pm. This three course pairing includes:
- Chocolate covered bacon paired with North Coast Old Rasputin Nitro
- Chocolate roasted nut bark with roasted walnuts, pecans and pepitas paired with St. Bernardus Abt 12
- Haus made donut holes paired with Four Peaks Oatmeal Stout on Nitro
Then, prepare for an evening of relaxation and sightseeing along Saguaro Lake as Brat Haus hosts the Beer, Brats and Boats Dinner with Desert Belle Cruises on Monday, February 15 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Craft beer lovers will experience a sunset cruise with a four course dinner and beer pairings from Four Peaks. The menu includes pork belly bites, brats and forest berry strudel. Tickets are $65 and you must reserve your seat by calling 480.984.2425.
If going whole hog is what you’re craving, then pull up a chair at the Grand Canyon Brewing Pig Roast on Tuesday, February 16th from 5 until 8pm. Enjoy the pig plate and pint paired with Soured Pistachi-Yo! Sour Saison. The meal includes farm to table whole roasted pig cooked with Grand Canyon Beer and sides of mashed fingerling potatoes, beer braised Brussels sprouts, heirloom carrots and garlic roasted local squash.
And if you still can’t get enough, head back to Brat Haus on February 17th for Pickles, Pints and Pigs featuring Green Flash Brews. Try the Pickle Board: pickled cauliflower, watermelon rind, okra and dill pickles paired with Green Flash Passionfruit Kicker. Or try Spätzle Mac and Cheese: house made spätzle tossed with cheese and bacon and paired with Green Flash Cask-conditioned West Coast IPA. Individual courses are $10 each or enjoy all four courses for $32.
Round out the week with Tap That Thursday, February 18 from 5-11 p.m. Concluding the beer week events, Tap That Thursday brings rare beers on tap to Brat Haus including 19th Anniversary Ale from Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Blackberry Barley Wine from New Belgium Brewing Company, Nelson Sauvin Pale Ale from Upslope Brewing Company and more.
