It’s about that time of year where everything you see is pink and red and covered in hearts. I know that we should all be showing love to our partners every day, but it is nice to have one day where you can indulge in all of that romance and show and tell each other how important they are to you. If you are looking to take your special someone out on the town and wine and dine them, we have a great list of Valentine’s Day dinners in the East Valley for you to choose from. Valentine’s Day Dinners in the East Valley

Chop Chandler
Where: 2625 W. Queen Creek Road, Chandler 85248
When: February 12th through February 14th
Menu/Details: Enjoy a specially created 4-course menu with your sweetheart. First course options are fried eggplant, smoked salmon mousse, heart shaped crab cakes or shrimp cocktail. You will also have your choice of tomato basil soup or a Caesar, wedge or downtown salad. Entrée options are grilled pesto salmon, a 6oz. filet mignon, citrus braised chicken thighs and a 10oz. ribeye. Guests can also add a 6oz. lobster tail for an additional $15 per person. Round out the night with your choice of vanilla bean crème brule, toffee bread pudding or heart shaped warm chocolate brownie for dessert.

Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort

Treat your loved ones to a special Valentine’s Day brunch at San Marcos. Your brunch will include chef-carved prime rib, grilled chicken with picatta sauce, pan-roasted salmon, roasted vegetables, waffle and omelet stations, a variety of baked goods, smoked salmon with mini-bagels, shrimp cocktail, domestic and imported cheeses, fresh fruit, and much more.

Cuisine and Wine Bistro
Where: 1422 W. Warner Road, Gilbert
When: February 14th
Menu/Details: Gilbert’s Cuisine & Wine Bistro will be setting the stage for a romantic evening with elegant French food from a special Valentine’s Day menu, and serving wine pairings to enhance both the cuisine and the evening. The culinary team at the bistro also created a unique champagne-based Cupid’s Cocktail. Diners can choose between two appetizers, two entrés and two desserts. Choices for appetizer are: Lobster Risotto, paired with Stag’s Leap Aveta, a 2014 Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley, or Smoked Duck Breast Salad, paired with Cambria – a 2012 Pinot Noir from Santa Maria Valley. For an entré, customers may choose between: Grilled Swordfish with Lemon Butterl paired with Vouvray Classic , a 2013 Chenin Blanc from France; or a 16-ounce Grilled New York Strip served with a trilogy of sauces and paired with a Chateau Lassegue – St Emillion Grand Cru. To top off the evening, Valentine’s Day diners may choose from Chocolate Souffle served with raspberries and paired with Bacchus Vineyard, a 2012 Merlot from the Columbia Valley, or Tarte Tatin (upside down French apple pie) served with Mascarpone Cream and paired with Chacewater, a 2013 Orange Muscat from Lake Country.

Eklectic Pie

When: February 14th from open to close
Menu/Details: Eklectic Pie will be offering two 11” pizzas, 2 drinks (includes beer and wine) along with a special dessert for the laid back lovers in the East Valley.

Kai
Where: 5594 W. Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler 85226
When: February 13th
Menu/Details: Kai’s Chef de Cuisine, Ryan Swanson has prepared an exquisite seven-course prix-fixe tasting menu. Exclusive menu highlights include; Hudson Valley foie gras and champagne terrine, almond milk froth, Happy Bear honey and mesquite brioche.  A second course of “Lobster and Caviar” includes wattle seed & vanilla poached lobster, durum berry risotto, caramel goat cheese, burnt squash crème and pinoles.  The culinary masterpiece to follow is a juniper and rosemary smoked squab breast with black trumpets, Swiss chard, parsnip velouté and dried wolf berry corn bread. The dining journey would not be complete without a specialty dessert fittingly titled “Roses are Red,” composed of a vanilla rose petal cake, Kiawe white honey, sparkling rose and raspberry sorbet, lychee gel and crystallized rose petals.

Ko’sin

When: February 14th from 5:30pm until 9pm
Menu/Details: Ko’sin will be offering a four course prix fixe menu, featuring several delicious entree and dessert selections served with beautiful views of the Sierra Estrella Mountain. Entree highlights will include petite filet mignon and Sea of Cortez prawns accompanied by roasted shallot potato puree, winter vegetables and a sun-dried tomato bernaise, Dessert offerings will include an indulgent dark chocolate brownie, kirsh namelaka, confit cherries and candied almonds or a brown butter cake with sea salt caramel, passion fruit bavarois, hazelnut praline crunch and Gianduja ganache.

RA Sushi, Mesa

Menu/Details: RA will be offering a 3-course prix fixe menu leading up to and including Valentine’s Day. For the first course you can choose one of the following: pork gyoza, spring rolls, tootsy maki or garlic ponzu yellowtail. For the second course you can choose two of the following items: viva Las Vegas roll, tunacado, ultimate shrimp tempura, spicy chicken teriyaki udon and chicken teriyaki. The final course includes your choice of either the cinnamon tempura gelato or the coconut crème brulee.

Roy’s Chandler

When: February 14th
Menu/Details: Roy’s will be offering a 4-course menu for diners on Valentine’s Day. Guests will have their choice of Swarnadwipa Hawaiian tuna, Scottish salmon rillettes, coconut curry filet satays, Kobe beef tartare, blue point oysters or pork and shrimp poptickers as an appetizer. For the second course you can choose lobster bisque, roasted heirloom tomato cracked pepper soup, a BLT wedge salad or a Mongolian grilled chicken salad. Entrée options are jumbo lump crab crusted filet mignon, rainbow trout, a 16oz bone-n ribeye, lemon butter grilled shrimp, seared U-10 scallops, Kona coffee grilled kurobuta pork tenderloin, a sashimi sampler entrée, blackened Atlantic salmon, thyme roasted chicken breast or misoyaki butterfish. Round out your indulgent feat with a chocolate soufflé, passion fruit Bavarian or white chocolate cheesecake.

Salut Kitchen Bar

When: February 13th and February 14th from 5pm until closing
Menu/Details: A special 3 course prix-fixe menu has been created especially for Valentine’s Day. Guest will be able to opt between hummus nachos, quinoa fritters or grilled Mediterranean shrimp for their starter. Entree options include pistachio crusted salmon, osso bucco with sundried tomato and saffron polenta or grilled chicken and Mediterranean quinoa pasta. Dessert options include s’mores or your choice of strawberry, orange dreamsicle or pineapple sorbet and, of course, a glass of champagne. The regular Salut menu will also be available.

Stingray Sushi

When: February 14th
Menu/Details: Stingray Sushi sets the mood for romance this Valentine’s Day with a heart-melting cocktail and special couples menu to share. The night starts with a love note. The Notebook Cocktail is an elixir of sparkling sake and sweet strawberries that is a delicious way to start the evening. It comes garnished with a note pinned to the rim of the glass. Write you own declaration of love, or let Stingray know what you’d like to say for a surprise when it’s presented. The specially crafted Couples Menu will include 2 drinks (wine by the glass, beer, spirit or specialty cocktail), 1 appetizer, 1 special Maki roll of crudo and 2 Chef’s Specialties, Kitchen or Sushi Combo.

Menu/Details: Thirsty Lion will be offering a special menu throughout the holiday weekend for you and your sweetheart. Guests can choose from crab stuffed Atlantic salmon, oven roasted lamb shank or rock salt crusted prime rib.

Menu/Details: Zappone’s guests will enjoy a 3 course special meal on Valentine’s Day. To start you will have your choice of lobster bisque or a pear salad. Entrée choices consist of a filet and lobster tail with truffle whipped potatoes, an 8 oz. filet with truffle whipped potatoes or a stuffed a-line chicken breast with herb risotto. Desert will be a chocolate pot de crème or a raspberry Napoleon.

Menu/Details: Are you looking to impress someone special? Cooking for your partner is a very romantic gesture and a sure way to let someone know how much you care. Zappone’s will be having a romantic cooking class, providing you with all the tools you need to impress your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day. You will be led on how to re-create lobster bisque, filet and lobster tail, truffle whipped potatoes as well as a chocolate pot de crème. The day of instruction will include lunch, all the associated recipes and 1 glass of house wine.
