Have you been to the store? Things are looking a little grim. All the best turkey’s have been swooped up and the cranberries are looking a little scarce. Scottsdale Restaurants Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner

Eddie’s House
Location| 7042 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale
Details| Eddie’s House 3 course dinner will delight all your guests. You’ll have many options for all courses. For your entree you can select between their American Chopped Salad, Chopped Caesar, Fall Harvest Kale Salad or the Lemon Poached Shrimp Cocktail. Your entree will include a Roasted Free Range Turkey, Garlic Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes, Campfire Sweet Potato Tots, Sage and Cornbread Stuffing, Buttered Green Beans, Thyme Giblet Gravy and Orange Cranberry Relish. You can choose from a Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Cobbler, Black Cherry Flourless Chocolate Cake or a Chocolate Pecan Tart with Cardamom Ice Cream for dessert.

Details| Garden Court is hosting the time-honored Thanksgiving Buffet. Enjoy an afternoon of classics, including Smokey Fire Turkey, Cajun BBQ Prime Rib, Slow Cooked Pitt Ham, a plethora of accompaniments, and desserts. The Buffet will be available between 11:00am and 3:00pm.

Remington’s at The Scottsdale Plaza Resort

Details| Dine on a three-course dinner at Remington’s. Have the fine dining experience this Thanksgiving, while enjoying live entertainment from the Rags Allen Trio (from 3:00pm to 7:00pm). The meal includes a choice of a starter, entrée and dessert. The three-course meal will be available between 12:00pm and 8:00pm.

Roka Akor

Details| For the first time ever, Roka Akor Scottsdale (7299 N. Scottsdale Road) is remaining open for the Thanksgiving holiday. Executive Chef Jason Alford takes the techniques and preparations Roka Akor has perfected to present a special menu which offers a Japanese spin on the traditional turkey-centric feast. Mouthwatering dishes on the “open charcoal” robata grill include Whole Turkey Leg with wild mushroom medley, cranberry glaze, and togarashi (Japanese chili peppers), Grilled Muscovy Duck Breast with Oregon huckleberry glaze, roasted celery root puree, and marinated golden beets, and Braised Oxtail Kamameshi with Swiss chard, Vidalia onion, and daikon radish confit. In addition to these holiday-themed dishes, the restaurant will also offer the full menu, including the restaurant’s staple premium steaks, seafood, and sushi. This unprecedented Thanksgiving meal will be served from 3:30 to 8:00 p.m..

Details| Taggia will be offering a buffet dinner featuring organic local green salad with radish, carrots, red onions, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes with house white balsamic and citrus vinaigrettes, fresh mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil, basil saba and grilled vegetable platter with roasted red pepper vinaigrette, herb-butter poached turkey breast with wild mushroom, fennel sausage stuffing and marsala turkey gravy, garlic-herb whipped mashed potatoes, classic green bean casserole with crispy onions and toasted breadcrumbs, tri color tortellini with roasted garlic cream, parmesan and basil, Calabrian chili cured pork loin roast with tomato chutney and smoked rosemary pesto, assorted dinner rolls with butter and olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Chef’s assorted holiday cakes, pies and sweets and artisanal coffee and tea selections. Thanksgiving waffle ($14) Waffled stuffing, hand carved turkey, smashed potatoes, gravy, and fried leeks

The Westin Kierland Resort

Details| This year, enjoy Thanksgiving with all the trimmings and leave the dishes to us. The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa will feature a traditional Thanksgiving Day menu created by Executive Chef Christopher Masco. Guests will enjoy a delicious buffet-style dinner and live musical entertainment while surrounded by sweeping floor-to-ceiling views of The Westin Kierland Golf Course and McDowell Mountains.
To start, the menu will include a butternut bisque, fresh Pacific Shelf seafood items including oysters on the half shell, king crab legs, marinated mussels and Mexican white jumbo shrimp, a cheese board and selection of salads. Roasted Sonoran-spice rubbed turkey, Arizona prime beef strip loin, salmon, pork loin and pumpkin gnocchi will be offered as entrees accompanied by a host of delicious side dishes. Details| Phoenix culinary legend, Tomaso Maggiore will host a prix-fixe Thanksgiving lunch and dinner at his latest concept, Vivo! Ristorante on Nov. 26 from 12 to 9 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy the modernized Italian atmosphere while pairing wine or beer with each carefully selected course:
First course:

  • Salad options: Arugula, endive and pear Salad or Berry and goat cheese salad or Caesar salad

Phoenix Restaurants Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner

Different Pointe of View
Location| 11111 N. 7th St., Phoenix
Details| Gather and give thanks over a decadent Thanksgiving feast overlooking the city skyline and sparkling city lights at Different Pointe of View, the mountaintop restaurant at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be served buffet-style on Thursday, November 26, from 12 to 7 p.m.
To start, enjoy signature housemade soups and salads including lobster bisque and butternut squash bisque, gremilli pasta and Italian olives, sopressata salad, Brussels leaf, smoked bacon and charred shallot salad, baby rocket arugula and poached pear salad, fresh Mozzarella di bufala and vine ripe tomatoes, and more.  Chilled seafood towers will feature Pacific Gulf shrimp, snow crab claws, marinated Penn Cove mussels and little neck clams. Fresh from the oven favorites will include caramelized cauliflower, sweet potato mousse with white truffle marshmallows, mascarpone herb caramelized shallot whipped potatoes, sweet Italian sausage  and sage brioche stuffing, braised turkey osso bucco with herb parmesan risotto and seared steelhead.  On the carving board, Executive Chef Anthony DeMuro will be slicing Four Peaks 8th Street Ale-brined and basted slow roasted turkey breast, slow-roasted Cedar River Farms prime rib, and applewood-smoked pork loin. Details| Round up the family for a casual, family-style Thanksgiving Dinner at the Western themed  Hole-in-the-Wall BBQ restaurant. Served on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26, from 12 to 10 p.m., dinner begins with a harvest salad, warm rolls with butter and will be followed by family-style offerings of cider-brined turkey breast, smoked prime rib, and choice of sides from green chile cornbread stuffing, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and harvest green beans with bacon.  For dessert, a sampling of sweet fall treats including pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cinnamon apple crumble, and chocolate flourless cake.

Warm from the oven entrees and sides will include brown sugar-braised beef short ribs, pork loin, barramundi, roasted Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, herb roasted fingerling potatoes, whipped potatoes, grilled asparagus and broccolini and cornbread stuffing. Details| Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the garden-inspired neighborhood restaurant will be offered on Thursday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Salads will include roasted root vegetable salad, southwestern Caesar, baby iceberg wedge and artisan lettuces with heirloom vegetables, herb goat cheese and champagne vinaigrette, as well as chilled items including charcuterie and cheese, dips and marinated and pickled vegetables. Warm and savory dishes will include seared corvina with lemon-caper butter and wilted spinach, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, green chile-roasted sweet potatoes, roasted fall vegetables and cornbread stuffing.
