Join Arizona Culinary Institute’s Chef Instructors for Tours of the School, Talk with LGO Hospitality about Job Opportunities, Witness an industry-leading cooking demo, and sample delicious food at a Mini Farmers’ Market!

You are invited to experience the industry-leading approach of the Arizona Culinary Institute at an Open House on Saturday, June 13. Chef Instructors will be giving tours of the school from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, and Admissions and Financial Aid Representatives will be on hand to answer questions from prospective students and their families. This event represents a no-pressure way to get a taste of what it’s really like to be a chef at a school dedicated to traditional French cooking techniques, but also welcoming of Modernist Cuisine. LGO Hospitality will be on site for ACI’s Open House. Interested parties will be able to speak with representatives about job opportunities with the company’s many restaurant concepts including LGO Grocery + Pizzeria, Chelsea’s Kitchen, and Ingo’s Tasty Diner. Their newest concept, Buck & Rider, will be opening in September 2015 and LGO is actively hiring to fill available management and hourly positions. Arizona Culinary Institute offers several start dates per academic calendar year. The day program has eight starts a year (about every six weeks), while ACI’s evening program has four starts per year. The next Day and Night Program Start Date is July 6.

Chef Christopher Wolf will be conducting a special Molecular Gastronomy Class at ACI on the day of the Open House, available for current students or alumni of ACI. This course will cover some of the most cutting-edge techniques currently being performed in the culinary arts, including Sous-Vide (under vacuum); liquid nitrogen techniques for freezing ice cream; powders, foams and froths, and Spherification, a culinary process of shaping a liquid into spheres. Chef Wolf’s special class is open to all ACI students and alumni for a nominal cost of $25.
