The holiday season has arrived and the big meals are lining up. I have a big-ish family, in that it’s all a little fragmented so when it comes time for family meals, I have at least two. At least.

So this year, if you find yourself with an array of plans or people that need to be entertained, we have a variety of options for you. Whether you are looking for a brunch, a dinner out or a place to pick up a complete (or a la carte) meal to take home, there are a number of Valley locations that have exactly what you are looking for.

Looking for spots in Phoenix? We’ve got those too!

Thanksgiving Dinner
11/27/2014 12 pm to 7 pm
Cost| $49.99 per adult and $24.99 for children (not including tax or gratuity)
Reservations| Required
Families and friends will indulge in the bounty of the season with a selection of traditional favorites and decadent dishes by Chef Charles Wade Schwerd this Thanksgiving while enjoying each other’s company at Arrowhead Grill.
Patrons will enjoy their choice of traditional Thanksgiving fare like a 12-ounce portion of turkey breast served with American speck ham and fennel cornbread stuffing with homemade cranberry sauce, or the crown jewel of the Thanksgiving culinary experience, decadent turducken. This famous French dish combines servings of delicate white meat and duck in a 12-ounce portion of plump turkey stuffed with chicken breast and duck served with a prosciutto and fennel cornbread stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce.
Other entrée choices include delicious Arrowhead Grill dishes such as an eight-ounce portion of the restaurants’ famous Delmonico Steak, a 10-ounce portion of prime rib, an eight-ounce filet or Atlantic Salmon or Sea Bass. Each dinner begins with the choice of Lamb Chop Fondue, two lamb chops grilled to preference and served with truffle tremor goat cheese fondue, or pig wing fried golden brown and served with spicy ranch sauce.
The dining experience continues with the choice of delicate iceberg wedge, Caesar or spinach salad or fresh butternut squash soup garnished with candied jalapeños. Entrée sides include the choice of Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple mashed potatoes, creamed corn or spinach, sautéed green beans, scalloped cheese potatoes, steamed broccoli or cornbread stuffing.
Patrons can finish their Thanksgiving feast on a high note with such traditional desserts as Sweet Potato Pie with marshmallow topping, Pumpkin Cheesecake garnished with maple whipped cream, or gluten-free Flourless Chocolate Cake served with crème anglaise and raspberries, or Arrowhead Grill’s own Butter Cake topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, $4.99 each.
“Thanksgiving at Arrowhead Grill is one of the highlights of the year,” said Chef Charles Wade Schwerd, owner of Arrowhead Grill. “We have a wonderful group of people who share the holiday with us each year, and we take pride in making it a special day for everyone, whether it’s their first year with us or their fifth.”
