Summer Menu Series: Sapporo Scottsdale

Sapporo Scottsdale has recently revamped their menu with a compilation of customer favorites as well as some innovative new dishes. This reconstructed menu reflects the restaurant’s commitment to high-quality, fresh food that is thoughtful and inventive. Executive Chef Stephen Stromberg noted, “Our goal was to evolve the menu by creating a balance between our customers’ beloved dishes while also integrating new flavors that reflect our unique Asian-inspired cuisine. We hope that we’re introducing our guests to their new favorite dish.”

Sapporo Pad Thai TacosThe Bites

The new Dim Sum additions will provide guests with numerous small plate options, including local favorite Pad Thai tacos along with the addition of the new savory lobster-stuffed shrimp with citrus miso butter sauce, Thai-steamed black mussels, and scallop, shrimp and mango ceviche. 

The Izakaya menu features a Kakuni-braised pork belly and Togarashi-blackened bigeye tuna along with diner’s all-time favorite Wagyu beef burger. Fresh salad selections now include the Brussels sprout and rhubarb Caesar salad, and a New York strip steak salad in addition to the restaurant’s classic wonton chicken salad. 

The menu also includes a new wok section consolidates stir fry and noodle favorites found throughout the old menu like the Japanese chicken curry noodles and Pad Thai, while introducing new ramen noodle bowls made to order with a choice of chicken, shrimp or steak. 

Diners at the restaurant’s interactive Teppanyaki tables can now choose buttermilk sirloin steak in addition to the extensive list of protein options while diners at the sushi bar can try the new Ozzy roll made with tempura snow crab, fresh lemon, cucumber, avocado, garlic butter and jalapeños.

The Booze

In the bar and lounge, the local favorite Kobe pear martini is joined by tasty red apple sangria and pomegranate prosecco, among others.
