Cornish Pasty Co. Gets Crabbies

Posted on: June 23rd, 2014 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

If you’ve had the occasion to enjoy a delightfully refreshing Moscow Mule, you’ve surely encountered some sort of ginger beer. An integral component of the Mule, the ginger beer is normally non-alcoholic. But have you tried the jazzed up version?Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer

On Thursday, June 26th, from 5 to 7 pm you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary samples of Crabbie’s Alcoholic Ginger Beer at Cornish Pasty Co. Crabbie’s will be launching their new flavor, Spiced Orange, which has just recently become available in Arizona. Crabbie’s signature flavors are created with closely guarded secret recipes, but what we can tell you is that the ginger used is shipped from the Far East and is cold steeped for up to six weeks and then combined with some additional (secret) exotic spices. The end result is a refreshing, light bodied ginger beer with crisp clean flavors and a sweet 4.8% ABV.

Crabbie’s Original is the number one selling premium ale in the UK and is leading the alcoholic ginger beer category in the US. The ties to the UK make Cornish Pasty Co. the perfect spot to launch the newest flavor. Throughout the evening you can enjoy the refreshing Crabbie’s as it was meant to be served, over ice with an inauspicious slice of lime, for just $4. You can also enjoy the other featured specialty cocktails; Up In Smoke Mule and Mexican Mule for $7. Cornish Pasty will also be suggesting the perfect pasty pairings throughout the evening event.

Can’t make it to the event on Thursday? You can still try out Crabbie’s by finding them at various outlets around the Valley, like BevMo and Total Wine.

Cornish Pasty Co. is located at 1941 W. Guadalupe Rd. in Mesa.
