Party: Super Party!

With the Super Bowl being the most anticipated game of the season, you’ll surely want to make sure the food you have at your party is top notch. There are several Valley hot spots that are offering take-away deals to ensure that you aren’t stuck eating cheese puffs and soggy pizza. If you’re looking to keep the mess far away from your living room there are also several places where you can catch the game and some great food to boot!

Great Spots for Take-Out:

RA Sushi

RA Sushi has five different sushi party platters to accommodate any size Super Bowl Party. The sushi platters are available for pick-up at all five Valley RA Sushi locations in Ahwatukee, Mesa, Tempe, North Scottsdale, and Old Town Scottsdale. Choose between the Basic ($60) option with eight Nigiri pieces and 44 sushi pieces or the Vegetarian Combo ($50) with 54 sushi pieces. Upgrade to a larger platter by ordering the Maki Maki ($70) with 81 pieces of sushi or the Tsukiji Combo ($100) with 32 Nigiri pieces and 52 sushi pieces. For a really hungry crowd, score the Harajuku Combo ($120), with eight Nigiri pieces and 111 sushi pieces. The catering dishes offer something for everyone including a wide variety of rolls, such as the California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Cucumber Roll, and more. All trays are served with wasabi, ginger, soy sauce and chopsticks. Customized platters are also available. Guests can call their favorite Valley RA Sushi location to place an order (24 hour advance notice recommended).

Sierra Bonita Catering

Show up to a Super Bowl party with munchies from Sierra Bonita Catering, and the only thing that will be talked about more than the commercials are the party platters! Keep hungry fans happy with a variety of finger foods and side dishes, available for pickup or delivery.

Snack on Bratwurst and Pretzel Skewers, served with IPA Beer-cheese Fondue or Red Chile Pork and Jicama Slaw Sliders, available for $60 per dozen. Power down a bucket of City Slicker Wings, drumettes served with an orange-Serrano glaze and blue cheese crumbles. Wings are $36 per dozen. Serve up a steaming side of Green Chile Mac and Cheese, made with Campanelle pasta and panela, cheddar and manchego cheeses. This dish is $60 and will serve up to 30 guests.

Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance of pick-up/delivery date. Delivery is available for $10 within a five-mile radius of Sierra Bonita Catering or for $20 outside of the delivery area. To place an order, call Sierra Bonita Catering at 602-573-2367.

SOL Mexican Cocina

SOL will be offering up four different platters to feed all your hungry guests. Fan favorites include their chicken, carnitas and carne asada street tacos, naked guacamole, cheese quesadilla rolls, coconut calamari and more!

American TapHouse

Waiting for the last touchdown?  The Grilled Corn Queso Dip, served with fresh, warm pretzel sticks, will keep you satisfied as you wait for the final numbers. American TapHouse is a high-energy, family oriented restaurant where great food, service, sports, music and late night entertainment all meet in true American country spirit.

Cadillac Ranch

Cadillac Ranch will start the party at 10am with tons of food and drink specials. On any given day this is a great spot to catch a game or viewing of a fight, but their making things Super this Sunday by incorporating contests and handing out prizes throughout the day. Challenge yourself to their Fear Factor Food Challenge and test the metal of your stomach.

Coach and Willie’s

How does a complimentary buffet sound? Head to Coach and Willie’s and enjoy the spread from 4pm until halftime. You’ll also have a chance at winning two sets of lower-level Rattler’s season tickets during the game.

Kelly’s at Southbridge

Enjoy happy hour specials all day and even reserve your seats for the big game! TVs galore and an awesome patio await you. Kelly’s will also be serving up two special dishes—Mile High Nachos and Seattle Paella—for whichever team you’re rooting for ($12.00 each). Celebrate the biggest game of the year with this delectable Jalapeno Popper Dip from Kelly’s at Southbridge. Dig in with homemade chips or a grilled baguette, it’s up to you! Located on Sixth Avenue in downtown Scottsdale, the 8,000 square foot swanky pub offers traditional pub classics mixed with exceptional modern cuisine.

Red Embers Bar & Grill

If you’re looking for a creamy and spicy take on your dipping options, visit Red Embers Bar & Grill inside Uptown Alley and try out the Spicy Cheese Fondue that comes served with a toasted pretzel. Located in Surprise, the 60,000 square foot family entertainment venue features bowling, an arcade, two-level laser tag, an ultra-lounge and more. It’s a great place to take the family.

Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill

Looking for the perfect dip for your potato chip? Try out the Artichoke Spinach Dip at Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill. Made with Reggiano cream, chopped artichokes, jalapenos and roasted garlic, this dip is sure to satisfy your taste buds while you wait for that perfect pass. Visit Thirsty Lion and try the Artichoke Spinach dip for Happy Hour as well, happening seven days a week from 3 to 6 pm and 9:30pm to close. Featured wine, well drinks and margaritas are also offered.

Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill

Freshly made at your table with avocado, tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, jalapeños, pepitas and Cotija cheese and served with warm chips, the Tableside Guacamole is the perfect alternative to the Super Bowl favorite. Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill is at the forefront of unique Southwestern fare.  The menu is largely influenced by the South and signifies bold robust flavors of Arizona, California, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.  Z’Tejas has five locations throughout the Valley.
