“Beat the heat” with Capital Grille’s summer pre-fixe menus

Posted on: June 4th, 2013 by Amy Martin No Comments

Now that the Valley has come face-to-face with triple digit temps, The Capital Grille is offering summer “Beat the Heat” dining specials for those that need a respite from the harsh, summer sun.

Starting this week through August 31st, you can enjoy three courses from 5-7pm for $39 per person. You’ll start with a salad of field greens dressed with champagne shallot vinaigrette, then have your choice of entrée (choose from the Seared Citrus Glazed Salmon, 8oz. Filet Mignon, or Breast of Chicken Confit) with one accompaniment (pick either Sam’s Mashed Potatoes or Seasonal Fresh Vegetables), and dessert – a crème brulee.

For lunch, stop in and check out their summer “Plates” menu offered Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. Let them know if you’re in a rush or need to get back to work—they’ll be sure to get you taken care of quickly. For $16, you’ll have your choice of soup or salad, and an entrée and side from the Plates menu.

If the heat has you thirsty, head in for their Generous Pour Wine Event (beginning July 9th and offered through September 1st) where you’ll be able to enjoy pours of 8 different wines, hand selected by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, for an additional $15 at lunch or additional $25 to your dinner bill. Their knowledgeable staff will walk you through each selection, guiding you along the way. I’ve found this event is a great way to explore different wines; it’s really an educational experience!
