Save the date: Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Festival on 5/18

Posted on: April 18th, 2013 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Whenever temperatures start to heat up, I find that a nice cold beer helps to cool me down. Imagine how cool the air might feel with 150 beers? On May 18th, more than 60 local and national breweries will pop the tops of their finest brews and we will get to relish on those frosty suds at the 3rd Annual Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Festival.

HDE Agency and SanTan Brewing Company have joined forces to produce this local event that will take place at the Scottsdale Civic Center Amphitheatre. From noon to 6pm you’ll have the opportunity to try all of these creative craft beers as well as enjoy the awards ceremony, live music, a Beer Science Garden, Beer Olympics and so much more.

We’re excited to bring the canned craft beer revolution back to Scottsdale! Last year the weather was amazing and the Scottsdale Civic Center Amphitheater was the perfect venue for this event. With 150 different beers to sample from across the country, great food and live entertainment, it’s the best way to spend a Saturday in May,” said Landon Evans, event coordinator.

Presale general admission tickets for the Ameri-CAN Canned Craft Beer Festival are available online for $25. General admission on the day of is $35. General admission includes entry into the festival with collectible 4 oz. sample can, which can be used to sample up to 20 beers from participating breweries. VIP tickets are $100 (presale only, while supplies last), and include general entry with a 4 oz. souvenir can, VIP lanyard for all access and exclusive entry into the VIP Beer Garden with catered food and treats, private restrooms and a meet and greet with brewers.

This is a 21 and over event, no exceptions. Ticket purchasers and all guests must be 21 or over and must present a valid picture ID upon admission.
