Step up to the taco at El Palacio
In the event that you are having taco withdrawals, El Palacio Restaurant & Cantina of Chandler has you covered.
On February 16th at 4pm all you will need is $10, an empty stomach and 5 minutes to finish as many ground beef tacos as you can. If you are the victor, you’ll receive a $75 cash prize, a trophy and bragging rights to the Taco Eating Champion title. The 2nd place winner will receive a $25 El Palacio gift certificate…for when you’re up to eating tacos again.
El Palacio has a great reputation in the East Valley for authentic Mexican fare (we even got one of their party platters for our Super Bowl event and no one was disappointed), so it’s safe to say that the contest tacos won’t suck!
If Chandler is a bit far for you, Casa Serrano in Lake Havasu’s location will also be hosting the same competition on the 16th and another competition on the 17th at Casa Serrano in Mohave Valley.
