Breakfast for dinner is never a bad decision

Posted on: October 10th, 2012 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

On October 12th, several Valley restaurants will be participating in the 4th annual PJ’s & Eggs event. Hickman’s Family Farm, Arizona’s only commercial egg farmer, has rallied local breakfast restaurants asking them to open their dining rooms for one night to benefit Arizona Children Association’s (AzCA) statewide, foster care program. The event will take place at participating restaurants starting at 5pm and it is encouraged that restaurant customers and employees wear pajamas for the event.

What’s better than breakfast for dinner? Getting to go out to dinner in your pj’s!

Diners are asked to bring a new pair of pajamas to the restaurant of their choice which will be donated to AzCA’s foster care children. In return for your donation, you will be entered to win gift certificates to participating restaurants. On top of that, you will also receive a gift certificate for a free dozen eggs, courtesy of Hickman’s and those can be redeemed wherever Hickman’s eggs are sold. All participating restaurants will be supplied with eggs from Hickman’s to ease their food costs for the evening.

A portion of the proceeds from the night’s event will be donated to the AzCA. Volunteers from the organization and/or members of the Hickman’s family will be on hand at some of the restaurants to assist in the pj collection, as well as distributing gift certificated. Check out the list of participating restaurants and take your family out for Breakfast for Dinner this year!

Can’t make it out on Friday? You can visit either Hickman’s or the AzCA website for information on how to make a contribution. Customers that donate pajamas any time leading up to the event will also be given a certificate for free eggs.
