Some nights there’s no time to cook or go out. Juggling work and family, time is precious and some days it seems as there aren’t enough hours to complete all the to-dos on my list. Even though I strive to cook at home most weeknights, sometimes there are exceptions.
After living in many different cities, I have come to find that Phoenix restaurant delivery options aren’t quite as abundant as they are in other areas I’ve lived. Finding a delivery restaurant in your area can be time consuming if you don’t know where to start. Recently, I stumbled across Delivery.com, a restaurant delivery resource offered in cities around the country, and found a list of restaurants that deliver to my area with many different cuisines to choose from, not just your typical ‘Chinese and pizza’. Because most of the restaurants delivering in my zip code use a delivery service, there was a selection of restaurants further away than just a couple of miles from my door – meaning, something new to try! Searching for a restaurant was easy – the hard part was narrowing down my cravings. From burgers, Indian, Italian, Thai, barbeque, and Chinese, there was plenty to choose from. We settled on barbeque ribs and other fixin’s (after all, I’m from the Midwest) and had dinner delivered for the family just at $40 and ended up with plenty of leftovers. I was able to order early in the afternoon and schedule delivery for later that evening, but if you need your food right away, just request yours to be delivered ASAP. The checkout process was simple and uncomplicated, and delivery time was shorter than expected. Delivery.com will definitely become a regular in my house for busy nights and lazy days.
