Four Seasons Hosts Holiday-Themed Wine Tweetup on November 9

Posted on: October 19th, 2011 by Amy Martin No Comments

Four Seasons hosts their second annual virtual wine tasting on Twitter, pairing sparkling wines with holiday treats on November 9. Locals can attend the live Tweetup on site at Four Seasons Troon North’s Onyx Bar & Lounge, one of the Four Seasons participating locations. If you can’t attend in person, join in on the fun on Twitter!

The one-hour virtual event will be moderated by four top Four Seasons sommeliers, allowing guests to sip and share the experience with others. The sommeliers will guide wine-enthusiasts through three sparkling wines, digging deep into a wealth of wine knowledge, their distinct flavor profiles, and sharing seasonal pairings, showing that these sparkling gems can be a match for almost any course of a Holiday meal.

The featured wines include: Lunetta Prosecco, Louis Roederer Brut Premier, and Domaine Chandon Brut Classic.

After tasting, the evening will close with a Q & A about all things wine related.

Cost to attend the tweetup at Onyx Bar & Lounge on November 9 at 7pm is $21 and includes a flight of the three tasting wines. A selection of canapés to accompany the flight is available for an additional $12. Guests will be able to view the streaming Twitter discussion on a large flatscreen tv.

If you can’t make it out, follow the discussion on Twitter beginning at 7:30pm (MST) by searching the hashtag: #FSWine. You can even host your own party by pre-purchasing the featured wines to taste along and share your thoughts throughout the Twitter conversation!

If you’re headed to one of the Four Seasons tweetups, be sure to check in to the Tweetup on Facebook or Fourquare this year – you’ll receive a bite to whet your appetite!
