We are very excited to announce a new giveaway with Sahale Snacks. One of our readers will win a Sampler of Sahale’s Glazed Nuts (Almonds and Cashews), an all-natural, healthy snack with no trans fat. We recently tried a few different varieties from their product line. The Valdosta Pecans were our absolute favorite of the bunch; the black-peppered pecans with sweet dried cranberries and bright orange zest were a nice blend of sweet-and-spicy. The Glazed Almonds with cranberries, honey, and sea salt were a nice salty-sweet pick-me-up; whole almonds glazed with orange blossom honey, naturally dried cranberries, and then topped with toasted sesame seeds and sea salt… Mmm. The sweet Glazed Cashews with pomegranate and vanilla were indulgent in themselves. For the lovers of the ‘que, the Barbeque Almonds with mild chipotle and ranch are slightly spicy, definitively smoky and seasoned with their proprietary “Dry Rub”, then slow roasted.
Sahale Snacks also recently announced that their production facility has been certified gluten-free. Their three lines of gluten-free snacks (Nut Blends, Glazed Nuts, and Seasoned Nuts) can be found in Arizona at Sprouts Farmers’ Market and Whole Foods as well as other grocery stores.
