Posted on: July 27th, 2011 by Amy Martin No Comments

At Iruna, located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Chef Aaron May (local Celebuchef) creates Spanish/Basque style tapas in a casual, but sleek and sexy setting. Head over to LocalDines.com to purchase a gift certificate. For $25, enjoy $50 worth of Spanish-style Tapas!

On the dinner menu, you’ll find both hot and cold offerings (tapas style, so order a few plates and share with friends!) as well as desserts. On the cold menu, choose from standouts like the Soft Lettuces with Rioja Vinaigrette (Bibb lettuce tossed with Manchego cheese, spiced almonds and Rioja wine emulsification | $8), Gazpacho (Refreshing vegetable soup served cold | $5), Shaved Celery, Radish & Arugula (Tossed in a creamy orange and goat cheese dressing | $8) and the Salpicon de Cangrejo (Jumbo lump crabmeat with cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower and sherry dressing | $10).

On the hot menu, you’ll find small plates including the Spinach & Goat Cheese Croquettes (Soft potato pillows with romesco sauce | $6), Calamari con Pimenton (Dusted with chickpea flour and finished with lemon, parsley and smoked paprika, served with citrus aioli | $9), Lamb with Mustard & Mint (Three chops with lima bean salad tossed in whole grain mustard vinaigrette with fresh mint leaves | $16), and Filet Mignon with Tomatoes & Salbitxada (Spiral cut and grilled with cherry and onions | $16).

Visit LocalDines.com to purchase your gift certificate – and send one to a friend!
