Father’s Day 2011: Scottsdale

  • Fleming’sBrunch | Sunday 11:30am -3pm | Price: $32.95

Kick off your summer with Dad at Flemings’ Father’s Day brunch, and they’ll give him a $25 Dining Card for a future visit (ask your restaurant for details) All locations will open early at 11:30am on Sunday and will be offering a 3-course brunch menu for $32.95 (excludes tax and gratuity) per guest until 3pm in addition to the regular menu.   • Fogo de Chão | Gourmet Lunch & Dinner | 11:30-9:30pm | $38.50-$46.50

Let’s face it – when it comes to dads, meat is usually considered mealtime’s “main event.” Celebrate Father’s Day at Fogo de Chão, where Dad can select from 15 cuts of delectable fire-roasted meats and 30-plus fresh-cut vegetables, imported cheeses, cured meats and Brazilian side dishes from the gourmet salad and sides bar. The environment is family-friendly, offering an elegant yet comfortable setting with semi-open and ultra-private dining spaces. The Gourmet Lunch Menu is offered from 11:30-3pm for $38.50 per person. Stop in at any one of the 10 Valley NYPD Pizza locations for dad to enjoy $.99 Domestic Drafts and a free small plate appetizer. Choose from Wings, Spinach Dip, Bruschetta or Crispy Zucchini Sticks (Dine in only. Limit 2 per dad).   • Talavera | Father’s Day Beer Dinner | Saturday 6pm-10pm | $58

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Executive Chef Mel Mecinas and team have created a Father’s Day Beer Dinner taking place on Saturday, June 18th from 6–10pm at Talavera Restaurant. The culinary celebration will include beer pairings from Nimbus Brewing Company. With a twist on the classic barbecue, the four-course dinner includes hearty menu options such as Kobe Beef and Grilled Lobster Slider, Watermelon Salad, an entrée plate with samplings of Bourbon Chili Grilled Hanger Steak, Peach Grilled Shelton Farms Chicken, and Molasses Glazed Lamb Ribs – all served with a Nimbus Brewery Brown Ale.  Family style side options are available as well as a special dessert (paired with beer too!).
