Robert Mondavi Discover Wine Tour Visits Scottsdale

The nationwide 2011 Robert Mondavi Discover Wine Tour will make its very first stop this weekend at the Great Arizona Picnic in Scottsdale. For the fifth consecutive year, the tour will be bringing Napa Valley wine country experience to food and wine festivals throughout the country and we are fortunate enough to be on its list of travels.

The mission behind Robert Mondavi and his vision is pretty nifty as well – they welcome any and every wine-drinker, from novice to enthusiast – no pretentiousness here! They believe that wine is meant to be enjoyed by everybody – not just gourmet ‘foodies’ and serious wine enthusiasts. And so, with that in mind, they created the Discover Wine Tour to leave its guests with a greater sense of knowledge and confidence through an interactive wine experience.

The Great Arizona Picnic will be held April 9th and April 10th as Scottsdale Culinary Festival’s signature event. Admission tickets to the Robert Mondavi Discover Wine Tour are $5 per person (in addition to your admission to the picnic) and tasting tickets are $1 each.
