Posted on: July 28th, 2010 by Amy Martin No Comments

**This restaurant is now closed** Craving southern comfort food with a little spice? Louisiana Fried Chicken is just the place to visit for lunch. They offer a variety of combos with meals including chicken strips, chicken nuggets, shrimp, fish and the classic, Louisiana style fried chicken on the bone, at very reasonable prices.

They are located on East Baseline Road off of South Twenty-first Way in Phoenix. They are open daily serving lunch at 11:00 a.m. Monday through Saturdays and at noon on Sundays. They are also open late for dinner. For exact hours of operation, you can call (602) 268-4849.

Claiming to be the best fried chicken restaurant in Phoenix, their food certainly does not disappoint. They have been using the same famous recipe for over 28 years.

Every item lends that spicy Louisiana kick. Try their combos for lunch. Their fried chicken combos offer your choice of breast, leg, thigh or wing and are served with your choice of thin-cut French fries or rice and a roll. Of course, a soda is included in all of their combos.

Also on the menu are a number of delicious side orders. You will find fried okra, dirty rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato salad and coleslaw. Their fried okra is a favorite and cannot be beat. If you are craving dessert after your meal, they also have a selection of southern favorites. Lemon cake, pecan pie, sweet potato pie and peach cobbler are all on the list.

For crispy, spicy fried chicken, Louisiana Fried Chicken is the place to go. Their batter is highly seasoned and the chicken is perfectly cooked and juicy. Order a combo with fries, a side of fried okra and a nice slice of pecan pie and you will be set!
