Just enough spice and a whopping burst of flavor are packed into these mighty appetizing shells.

Mix up these Spicy Corn Phyllo Poppers before a game or a big gathering at your house and just wait for your standing ovation.

Ingredients
  • 2 packages Athens Mini Fillo Shells
  • 12 ounces shoepeg corn drained
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 4 ounces canned chilies drained
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni chopped
  • 1/2 cup jalapeno cheese shredded
Servings: appetizers
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place shells on a baking sheet. and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the shoepeg corn, sour cream, chilies, tomatoes and pepperoni.
  4. Fill the shells with mixture.
  5. Sprinkle each shell with cheese.
  6. Bake in preheated 375°F oven for 5-8 minutes, or until cheese starts to melt.
  7. Remove from oven to wire rack to cool slightly, before serving.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
