Events | Forget the Breakfast Club, Its Time for the Brunch Club!

I don’t know about you, but brunch is one of my favorite things. A typical brunch consists of dressed up sweet and savory breakfast items with a dash of hearty lunch dishes to round things out. And did I mention that cocktails for breakfast are almost a requirement? That’s a typical brunch, today I want to let you in on the best brunch coming to town; The Brunch Club.

What is the Brunch Club?

This exciting event, brought to you by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, is all about living it up and celebrating the best thing about the weekends; sleeping in and indulging in decadent dishes. Your culinary adventure will start at the newly re-imagined Mountain Shadows Resort in Scottsdale. You pay one price and get all the food and breakfast bevvies you can stomach.

What kinds of bites can you expect?

Some of your favorite local restaurants will put their best brunch dishes forward. Here’s a preview of what you can expect:

Hearth 61 | Green Chili Pork Chilaquiles, Banana Ricotta Pancakes and Seared Hawaiian Tuna

Mowry + Cotton | Green Chili Pork Shank, Mowry Monkey Bread and Local Fruit & Nut Tray

Benedict’s Café | Bacon, Egg & White Cheddar Brioche Sandwiches, Brioche French Toast with Berry Compote and Vanilla Bean Scone

Casa Anejo | Ceviche Cups, French Toast Churros and Spicy Chorizo Empanadas

Stock + Stable | Sausage and Gruyere Strata, Bacon and Cheddar Cornbread Muffin and Fruity Pebble Strawberry Parfait

Wright’s at the Biltmore | Maple Cured Bacon, House Smoked Wild Sable Fish and Pancake Lasagna

You’ll need something to sip on while you nibble, so be sure to check out Tito’s Handmade Vodka American Mule, the Bloody Mary bar, mimosas, Chandon Sweet Star, Chandon Brut or Michelob Ultra. *Since the booze will be flowing, the Brunch Club is a 21 and over event.*

If you need to shake a little to either make more room or ward off the effects of those extra calories DJ Jen Jones will be spinning to get you moving.

The Brunch Club will take place on Saturday, December 2^nd from 11:30am until 2:30pm. General admission tickets run $45 per person. You can also opt for VIP tickets that will get you entry  an hour earlier, ensuring that you won’t have to wait for the dishes you crave the most!

Event sponsors, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Fotobot Photo Booth have made sure that the event will be a lot of fun and something you will wish happens each and every weekend!

As an added feel-good component, all net proceeds from the event with help to support the Scottsdale League for the Arts. If you’re not familiar, the non-profit promotes arts and arts education here in the Valley through exciting events like the Scottsdale Culinary Festival and The Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner. The League has been able to raise over $4 million since 2002 for organizations like Ballet Arizona, Childsplay and Free Arts of Arizona.
