Help Prayers For Presley by Visiting Buffalo Wild Wings on June 2nd

When your child is sick, it is the worst feeling in the world. You feel helpless, especially when they are so tiny and don’t have the words to tell you how they are feeling or where something hurts. When my youngest son was a baby he was prone to febrile seizures and even though, after a bit of time, I was educated enough to know that the seizures weren’t hurting him the experience was always devastating. There was nothing that I could do to stop the seizures, or to speed them up or to anticipate them. I am thankful that this is the worst experience that I have had with any of my three children because I know that for some this is not the norm.

I recently learned about a little girl named Presley. She is a sweet little six-month-old baby girl. She has a twin brother and four older siblings along with two moms and hordes of friends and family that adore her. Recently her parents thought that she might have the flu and took her to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. While there she underwent a number of tests and was found to have the flu and viral meningitis. In order to determine the extent of meningitis, the doctors ordered an MRI and it was found that Presley had a very large tumor on her brain. She has since undergone two surgeries and one of them resulted in learning that the tumor was cancerous. This little baby now has to undergo chemotherapy and surgery to attempt to remove all of the cancer.

Presley’s family unit is very strong and her parents, Liz and Laurie, are doing everything they can to ensure that Presley is never alone and that all of their other children are well taken care of. This, along with the financial impact of the medical costs, is going to take a serious toll on them and they need the help of their community to get them through.

How can you help? Prayers for Presley was created to keep people updated and informed of Presley’s condition. That community has since partnered with Buffalo Wild Wings for a benefit night. On June 2nd, you can help out this little girl and her family by visiting the BWWs Superstition Springs, Chandler Mall, Queen Creek or Tempe locations. All you need to do is mention Presley’s name and 10% of your entire ticket will be donated to Prayers for Presley. It is a tiny thing that you can do to help make a positive impact on this family. If you can’t make the event or donate, please keep this tiny angel and her family in your hearts and prayers.
