Arizona Culinary Institute Announced Spring 2016 Wine Tasting Flight Schools

Arizona Culinary Institute Wine Tasting Flight School February 17, 2016Join Arizona Culinary Institute Chefs and Students as they present the next in their series of Wine Tasting Flight Classes on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 and Wednesday, March 16, 2016. You’re invited to eat, drink and be merry. This wine lover’s happening features one seating at 6:30pm, promptly, on both nights.

ACI’s du Jour Restaurant is located at 10585 N. 114th Street in Scottsdale (116th Street and Shea). If you need any additional details you are invited to call 480.603.1066.

This cheery evening class, featuring a four-course tasting menu, is only $55 per person (which includes tax and gratuity) and is open to anyone 21 or older, but space is limited and participants must register online.

The menu for the February 17th event will include:

First
Hot and Cold Katama Bay Oysters
Raw Oyster
Chardonnay Gelee
Pan Fried Oyster
Remoulade
2009 Failveley Macon Village Chardonnay

Second
Smoked Trout
Frisee, Slow Roasted Tomato, Pancetta Vinaigrette, Horseradish Creme Fraiche
2010 Kuentz-Bas Riesling

Third
Pastrami Short Rib
Creamed Turnip, Honey Carrots, Cottage Fries, Bradford Mountain Demi-glace
2012 Bradford Mountain Zinfandel

Dessert
Passion Fruit Bavarian Cream Gateau
Vanilla Chiffon Cake, Raspberry
2012 Tintero Moscato d’Asti

The entire menu will be prepared and served by the students of the Arizona Culinary Institute under the instruction of Chef Steven Butler and Chef Emily Smith, CWPC.
