2015 CalendarWhile Spring is now in full effect, our events calendar is starting to fill up. There are so many fun events around town that are coming up and we want to make sure that you don’t miss out on any of them.

Here is the round up for the coming week!

Tuesday: March 24th, 2015

Ramen Swap: Umami BowlRamen Swap at POSH Improvisational Cuisine

Chefs Joshua Hebert, Jared Lupin and Rebecca Noorda are joining together to guest chef at each other’s restaurants creating their own take on ramen bowls.

Wednesday: March 25th, 2015

Salut Hummus NachosSalut Kitchen’s 2nd Anniversary Party

Salut Kitchen will be celebrating their 2nd anniversary by offering guests special pricing on appetizers and wine all day long.

Thursday: March 26th, 2015

Phoenix Film Festival Opening Night

Phoenix Film FestivalThe Phoenix Film Festival is rolling out the red carpet and inviting you to a night of food and celebration. Guests will enjoy some delightful bites from 14 of the Valley’s best local restaurants. After you have gotten your fill of great local tastes you’ll head over to Harkins Scottsdale 101 for the premiere of Danny Collins.

Tickets are $60 and all proceeds will go to the Phoenix Film Foundation’s education programs.

Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner

Friends of James Beard Deseo is host to the Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner featuring a 7 course dinner crafted by 7 visionary Chefs. This event serves as a kick off to the Scottsdale Culinary Festival.

The cocktail reception begins at 6pm and individual tickets are $225 and can be purchased online.

Flights & Bites

Lawrence Dunham Vineyards Flights & BitesLawrence Dunham Vineyards is pairing up with Frank Food Truck, United Steaks of Cheese Food Truck and Rounders Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches for an exclusive wine pairing event for only $25 per person (not including tax or gratuity).

Easter Cupcakes available at Sprinkles

Sprinkles HOP boxSprinkles in Scottsdale is offering up a HOP box which will be the perfect addition to your holiday event or hostess event. The HOP box is available from March 27th through April 5th.

English Rose Tea Room Royal Baby ShowerRoyal Baby Shower

As the entire world anxiously awaits the impending arrival of Prince William and Princess Kate’s newest addition to their family, The English Rose Tearoom is hosting a Royal Baby Shower in the soon-to-be-born baby’s honor. For an admission price of $45 you will be able to attend the historic international event, enjoy tea sandwiches, scones, petite fours, tea (of course) and you’ll also receive a “royal” goodie bag. You are encouraged to sign a baby book that will be sent to Kensington Palace. Guests are encouraged to bring gifts for new mother that will be donated to UMOM.

Food Truck Caravan

The Scottsdale Food Truck Caravan will be featuring Buzz N Bee, Triple Dot, Aioli Burger, Frank’s, Sweet Magnolia, Nicastro Wood Fire Pizza, Quseo Good, Satay Hut and Yatai Ramen. Enjoy the offerings from this collection of food trucks from 6:30 to 10:30pm on the NW corner of 5th Ave. and Goldwater in Scottsdale.

Sunday: March 29th, 2015

6th Annual Slider Eating Contest

Looking to test your limits? Why not enter the Chicago Hamburger Company’s 6th Annual Slider Eating Contest? $35 gets you entry into the competition and a chance at winning prizes. Not interested in participating, but want to be front and center for all the action? Bring your family and friends to the restaurant at 3pm when the contest will begin. 100% of the entry fee for the contest as well as net receipts from the days sales (from 11:30am until 3pm) will go directly to the 100 Club of Arizona.
